My biggest concern with the play is that the Nets clearly knew what was coming. I understand that Kyle is the guy and you want to live and die with him taking the last shot, but at least let someone else touch the ball first to make the Nets hesitate about the triple team. 6 seconds is enough time for a play that involves one pass. And if the inbounds pass is made to someone else and Lowry is still double-teamed, hit the open man for a wide open shot.
Coming out of the time out you could see all the Raptors patting Lowry on the back and giving him encouragement. They might as well have just put the play design up on the Jumbotron.
