When is Johnson going to get regular minutes again. He is our best defender and a the best small forward on the team.
So let it be said. So let it be done. Book it and tag this post

Reading the game thread you would think JJ is on Lebron's level. The dude was in the D League this time last year. It's not the end of the world if he doesn't play.

It wasn't him making shots, it was him with the ball in his hands. Having him play off the ball when DeRozan returned was hard to watch. The spacing was screwed up and the team was forcing a ton of shots. Lowry's ability to drive, draw and dish with the BALL IN HIS HANDS, is what the team was missing.

Bench Vasquez, move Ross back to SF and get back to what Lowry does best..drive, draw and dish or drive, draw and get to the line. The lanes will open up for Ross and DeRozan for open jumpers.

I honestly still don't get the experiment with Vasquez at the 1 and Lowry at the 2 on offence.

Raps do this, JJ gets his minutes back...easily.

Twin PGs is the lamest horse bleep ever. It isn't even worthy of High School ball. I don't blame GV for being thrust into this role. To me GV is a shooting guard who brings shooting off the bench. He is insurance at the point but we would have been better with Nando at back-up PG. Whiteside probably isn't MU's big mistake rather re-upping GV with Lou in tow is turning out to be a head scratcher for all but Casey. GV is getting too big a role unless they are showcasing him. Now that America has conspired with the Saudi's to sink oil and Russia maybe we can safely pluck Nando back from Russia...

High school ball is FULL of 2 & 3 PG lineups...
It's freaking high school basketball. A lot of guards are the same size lol. There's barely ever "PG, SG, SF, PF, C" classifications. Just guards, forwards... and really the only time you're a center in high school ball is if you're 6'4" or taller lol

He's shooting 60% plus TS, and plays good defence and can dropkick a regulation basketball net. It is kind of odd he doesn't deserve minutes right now.

We might get a JJ sighting when Raps have to guard a LeBron, Carmelo, Durant, etc...

Come on, chuck Hayes was the better pick today, didn't you see what he provided that JJ could never provide?

Exactly a year ago today, JJ dropped 12 points 4 boards 8 assists and 4 steals in a big Grizzlies win over the Rockets.

But yeah this guy is totally a scrub and not one of the more dynamic players on our roster. GV/Hansbrough/whoever should get all his minutes.

Please, please, please, let this just be MU ordering Casey to give GV extra burn to pump up his stats before the trade deadline!!!

We all know JJ should be getting 30 minutes a night in the playoffs. Well, all of us except Casey it seems.

No but he is our best SF, if you don't think he's good enough despite being the best we have then that's on Masai not Casey.!

An interesting note is Casey actually got fired in Minny for these exact same reasons, he could not manage a rotation to save his life.

Players don't go from playing over 20 minutes a game to under 10 minutes a game without good reason. I'm not buying the idea that it's simply because he's not good enough for what Casey requires on the court. There must be some kind of behind the scenes issues and he's in the dog house (though from his body language you would think otherwise).

I dunno man. If i got a dog from the SPCA and they told me it **** everywhere, then I came home after a tiring day at the office and see **** all over my carpet, hallway, bed, etc.... I'm just saying I wouldn't blame my wife.

JJ has been a locker room problem wherever he's gone. Dwane built a relationship with KYLE LOWRY aka the guy who fights with every nba coach hes5 had. Do you remember the anti coach label he had before his recent play?

Strange to give JJ the benefit of the doubt when hes repeatedly done the opposite and blame casey who has also demonstrated a great record as a players coach in the past. Not saying it's impossible that casey just hates JJ but weird to see.

When chuck hayes ends up getting more min than JJ, then you know something is wrong between JJ and Casey. There is beef between the two.

Theres no other way around it. JJ could have easily played hayes's min. Even in the PF position. Funny thing is James Johnson is probably bigger than hayes anyway.

James Johnson trade looks inevitable now folks. Or at the very least he's not coming back next season. Not unless casey is let go.

Truly sad. We finally find our "defensive wing stopper" and a guy who can guard the likes of Joe Johnson, Lebron, etc.... and we are about to force him out.

I F***ing dislike Casey so bad as a coach.
Ross bad on both sides of the ball get demoted to 6 TH man. But still gets 20+ a night.
GV plays bad both sides of the ball and gets moved to Starter? SMH GV has been better in past few games but with more PT

JJ plays ok some nights but very good most nights and gets demoted to 11th man on rotation. Man JJ just ask for a trade. Casey is a dope! Guarentee teams lining up for him because they know Casey is a fool.

Great post. This board could use your logic and rationality. I wish we could know whats going behind the scenes.
