Masai said he hates lazy players, well he should open his eyes and see that a lot of our players on the team are exactly that.

Damn, we're stuck.

Bingo.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Can you stop with your Masai witch hunt?

You have an obvious axe to grind and it's bordering on obsessive.

If not for Masai, this team would still be one of the leagues worst. We'd still have Bargnani, Gay, etc.

All he has done is make good moves. There were no "lies". He never guaranteed a championship. He never guaranteed anything, actually.

All I've seen is improvements in BOTH of his years as GM.

Your agenda is baseless.

I don't know how one can gauge laziness base on a few bad games here or there considering this team will win 50 games. If they're lazy, then the other 23 teams below them in the standings must be immobile.

they'll win 50 games, so your psychic now or something?

and by the way, if they play the lazy way they've been playing the last few games, they are NOT winning 50 games. Their effort has been brutal the last few games.

Since Demar came back from his injury, we've been 14th in ORTG. We haven't had a good offense for a while now.

Game, set, and match.

Last few games, this happened, last few games, that happened.

It is an 82 game season. The last 13 games before that they were great, and the 4 games directly before that they beat great competition.

When people have so much tunnel vision, obviously I'm going to look at you as though you have no idea what you're talking about and have obviously not seen another basketball team before.

We just faced in the last 3 games, 2 teams better than us in the standings, on their home court, and another who we admittedly just simply **** the bed against.

In the large scope of things, it was a blip on the radar.

Golden State even lost to the Lakers and Utah. Does that mean they stink too?

It is like talking to people who have never seen basketball before this year sometimes.

really, well let me tell you this, anybody could have pulled off the Bargnani trade if they were dealing with James Dolan, in fact, Masai owes the Knicks a public thank you for taking him off our hands, he's just the lucky one that did it, it was more Dolan's stupidity than Masai.

as for the Rudy Gay trade, there was only one good piece that came out of it (Patterson)

and the Lou Williams trade was redundant because it was just skill duplication left right and center, we already have enough inefficient shooters, yet he goes and brings in another one.

and what good will it be in the playoffs this year if he motivates the other opponent again with that f*** brooklyn nonsense last year.

do they consistently do that like we do though? When we play against teams we know we are better than or have big leads against, we slack, for example, the Pelicans game, why did we s**t the bed, because of slacking, why did we lose against them before, again, slacking, same thing with Milwaukee, Brooklyn, the Lakers, etc...

Ujiri is so overrated on this board it's nauseating. Almost as nauseating as how overrated Colangelo was through his first few years. And as with Colangelo, people predict some magical moves that will take this franchise to the next level this or next offseason, even though he has shown absolutely nothing to suggest he is capable of such moves.

Masai has done nothing but good as GM of The Raptors.

Sorry man, but your slant is REALLY limited, and again, baseless.

Success in this league is measured in WINS and LOSSES.

Masai's first year as GM = makes trades that culminated in an ALL TIME BEST season record.

Next year = acquires pieces without giving away ANYTHING. Raptors are on track for 50+ wins for the first time in franchise history.

But here we have people like you. Inveighing against him. Calling him a fraud, that this isn't good enough, that you want a championship and NOW!

Do you see how absolutely ridiculous this is? Can you see how anyone with any REAL knowledge of the inner workings of the league and business would cast aside your proclamations as the ravings of a implacable fan?

I do.

Sorry but I don't agree with anything you've said and neither does anyone who knows the game. Fans like you don't deserve to celebrate the successes of the team. You fall into this boards "fatalist, universally displeased with everything and anything the Raptors do" category. This is the last thing I'll type in objection to your negativity.

the only reason they think that is because they think he deserves all of the credit for moves like the Bargnani trade when even David Kahn could do that.

Rudy Gay, Bargnani, John Salmons.

Low risk moves with high rewards. That's a great GM.

Anyone comparing to retool every offseason with ridiculous signings for useless players, to a guy who doesn't rock the boat, makes simple but innocent moves without any true risk, and he has shown nothing.

Are people actually idiotic? Do you think you go from 48 wins to championship in a season with key pieces all 25 or under?
