I'd say rest our players. Shut down Amir until the last 1-2 games, and limit Demar, JV, and PatPat minutes to around 20 per.

It is also a chance for us to try to get Bebe and Bruno some extra minutes - let's see how far along they really are, as that factors into what Masai wants to do in the off-season.

the way Lowry has been playing defense the last 1/2 season, i wouldn't want him anywhere near John Wall.

People are overrating Pierce..that series was all Joe Johnson. Raptors were too dumb to feed their big men and take advantage of Pierce at PF. Dude is more a liability now. What we should be more worried about is the P/R against the Wizards with Wall and Gortat..and if Nene gets to be 100%, he'd give us some trouble in the post.

Except Amir going beast mode in game 7. But you're right that time and again it was JJ getting them back in games, or taking leads. Plus 3s off his strong play.

Against Wiz we have to limit TOs and run outs for Wall. And hit our 3s, which we'll routinely get. Patterson and Vasquez play well against their "home" team and that's big. Sessions could be a bit of a pain though.

I like the Washington match up only because they're playing just as **** as us. I think if Casey makes the right adjustments during the playoffs, we'll somewhat be fine, but then again Casey is very bad at them. :banghead: .

our guys need chemistry, confidence and momentum heading into the playoffs. Rest is the last thing i would think these guys need unless they clinched 1st or 2nd in the conference. At this point Raps are fighting for either 3rd or 4th place and have not been playing well since January so i dont think rest is the answer. The long rest didnt seem to do anything for this team during ASG weekend.

Do we not own tie-breaker with Chicago? I thought division winners instantly get tie-breaker if both clubs end up with same record

This. I don't want to rest our guys for a better matchup. I want to rest our guys so they're not beat up going into the post-season.

Does anybody remember the story of the nets last year? Trying to match up with us and Miami since they swept the season series against the heat. And how did that turn out?

Regular season means squat.
