He's not guaranteed to fall, although he's the main suspect to fall. If he's there you take him and run, but I wouldn't put all of my eggs in that basket.

I don't think he's falling. He reminds me a ton of Stanley Johnson who went 8th in a way better draft. Jaylen's not falling past 6 - if he were too we would need to swoop up and get him asap.

Can't he be like Winslow who dropped to 10th tho?

I'm not sure Winslow really dropped last year. There was a range he could have been picked at. Many thought he should have been picked a few spots higher, but there was no shocker selected in front of him. The only guy you could mention was maybe Kaminsky who was coming off a National Title.

Still, players do drop like Iguodala, Drummond, and Brook Lopez did. But Brown has steadily lowered his stock over the season so seeing him at 9 would be nice, but not surprising. I'd be much more surprised if one of the top-2, Bender, Murray or Dunn drop to us.

Think New Orleans steal Sabonis from us?

There's no way he goes that high, and if he does it's GREAT for us.

Brown could fall in the draft, but I don't see any scenario where he gets past Denver (assuming they don't jump into top 3).

What if any or all of Rabb, Jackson or Luwawu were to move into the top 8? If it is two players climbing in there then two players could fall. Who could that be? Murray and Poetl likely. Sure beats giving up assets.

Someone will pull a Babcock/masai/Colangelo and take a arujo/bruno/ross ahead of us.

This is our draft!

Luwawu is going to shoot up in the draft once the combine hits. I remember Porzingis was a lottery pick for most of last year up until the month before the draft. I predict the same for Luwawu. Kings will probaby take him.

With those uniforms and our logo he would be going from one watermelon team to another.

*knock on wood* But Magic are doing work. Hopefully they keep it up. Close game between the Knicks and Hornets though.

Yeah there is a good chance Luwawu might get snatched up by a team before we can pick, would be thrilled to snag him at 9/10. I like OG Anunoby with our pick if he declares. Good guy to have develop in the D-league with Bruno.

If Skal had a big year we'd be picking him.

If Rabb had a 3 we'd be picking him.

If Ellenson had more backers on here we'd be raving about him as well.

If Ben Ben was like 6'10 we'd be taking him.

If bender fell we'd be taking him.

I just want a pf but none of them are really screaming lotto pick. Decisions decisions, decisions...

I'm still a big Ellenson fan, guys got some crazy skills and put up some awesome numbers for a freshman in a good college conference. I know lots of guys knock him saying that he's not athletic/ to slow to play PF and a terrible fit next to Jonas. All of which might me true, but next to biz or in a small ball lineup with Patterson played my the 4 and him the 5 he could really provide problems for other teams. I think he's in 8-10 range with skal and poetl as far as being tier 2

All 3 of Masai's draft picks so far have had some kind of defensive potential. All of his off season acuisitions last year were defense first players. If that is any indication of the direction of the team going forward then there is 0 chance he drafts Ellenson. He is one of the worst defenders in this draft. Simply atrocious. If he were a dominant offensive player perhaps it would be worth playing him with Bismack, but the guy had pretty poor shooting percentages in college as well. Right now I'd say it's Luwawu, Rabb or Chriss. Not necessarily in that order.

Luwawu would be good just he has to know a lot of those dribble he does the refs will definitely call him for palming the ball

If one of the "top 7" don't drop to us then I'd take:

1. Chriss - huge upside and super young
2. Luwawu - 2 way player and 2 years older than Chriss
