So who gets traded y'all? Someone has to be getting traded if we want to add more than a draft pick (another young player) to this team. We'll likely have around the MLE to play with to make any other additions, but the best we could hope for would probably be Solomon Hill or Terrence Jones in that situation. So, a trade does seem to be in the cards at some point, maybe even on draft night.

Ross?
Patterson?
Joseph?

ross is prob the most likely. but we dont need to trade someone cause we have an incmoing pick. the 9th if its sabonis/poetl can replace scola/bis.

27th is getting stashed or traded for sure.

If I had to take a wild guess, Ross or Patterson. I think they keep CoJo... it's hard to find a capable PG like him and we have him on a bargain deal for the next few years. Would be tough to see the hometown kid go if anything did happen. As good as Delon has been, I don't think he could be on the court in late game situations like CoJo was in the 2 PG lineup.

Losing Biz is tough imo. I don't know (and I feel pretty certain about this) if Dwane is going to play the rook that much, anyway. So, it would be on Bebe in that case, another bit of an unknown.

PPat's contract is such a bargain I could see him being possibly moved just as a filler to take Ross off our hands. He's going into FA next year and will be moved now or by the trade deadline. He could become a huge trade chip tomorrow.

Just watched Maryland vs Michigan State on BTN. Stone, Davis, Valentine.

Reminded me of how good Davis is at rotating and just being in the right place at the right time. His shot didn't look great, but the passes he was making were great, the block he had on Stone might have saved the game. Unfortunately for Stone, that was the only time he seemed to do anything noteworthy in the second half. Valentine of course, was the best player on the court. And it wasn't even a great game by his standards.

I would 100% take Valentine outside of the lottery. I could also see the Kings reach for him at #8.

Davis wouldn't be the worst pick at #9. I just don't think he could contribute much next season. But after a year in the 905, he might be making Masai look pretty smart.

As for Stone, I want no part of him at #27. He looked slow and lazy. At one point Costello and Davis made him look like a confused fool on a pass for a wide open dunk. He just doesn't seem to have much BBIQ at all. Or a motor. He might have been the biggest guy on the floor in this game, but he looked more like a pylon than a player.

Which really makes me wonder what Masai might see in him. Smokescreen? Are we making a trade that nets us some mid-second round picks? We seem to be looking at a bunch of players that won't go in the first round. Er... maybe that is harsh towards Stone. I'm currently projecting him at #30. But after watching this game again, I think I might drop him a bit more.

Suns can't decide on a PG. Jesus.

The owner is cheap and that tanking hard in the 2017 draft makes sense for them.

Just don't draft Skal and I will be happy.

Skal Labissiere, 7-foot freshman forward, Kentucky: "I'm not a fan. I might take him in the late teens because that's where you can take a gamble. I don't think he's tough or physical, and I don't know if he knows how to play. If you watch him work out one-on-nothing, he can blow you away. The problem is when the game starts. He can really shoot. [Cavaliers forward] Channing Frye is going to get him drafted high. You're just seduced by his talent. If there's a team that wants to take a chance on him in the top 10, more power to you."

A lot of what I've been reading about him makes me nervous. Definitely a swing for the fences pick if we go there.

Every year it seems like there's a guy that gets picked in the top 10 strictly based on his athleticism, then they disappoint in the league. Based on the scouting reports I think Jaylen Brown might be that guy.

I've changed my mind on Skal. His past injuries and the lack of toughness are making me re-consider. I'm on the Poeltl bandwagon now. He can replace Biz and play some minute alongside Val. Also, he's pretty athletic and doesn't shy away from contact. I think he's the safest bet at #9. I'd rather take a chance on Davis than Skal, actually.

Chinese character which translates to middle/center. Also the first character of China in Chinese. Too old to understand the underlying meaning to this though...
