Boston Wins a lot
Cavs lose a little (instead of losing a lot)

I agree Boston would win this trade but if you look at their offseason as a whole, they've lost a ton of depth. If this trade goes through, Boston would have lost:

IT
Crowder
Bradley
Olynik
Amir Johnson
Gerald Green
Jerebko
Zicic

Gained:

Irving
Hayward
Morris
Baynes

They're going to be relying a lot on Jaylen Brown and Tatum I suppose

What you've just showed is that huge depth charts mean nothing in the NBA when they are not seeing any time in the playoffs. Amalgamating higher quality talent that plays higher amount of minutes in the playoffs is what they need. They could be in the finals in the following season. Anige, has done a great job this summer IMO. Added a top draft pick, added a top Free Agent, added a top player thru trade (by sending lower pieces), and lost nothing overly significant.

Way more worried about IT on Cleveland...

Oh snap, the Cavs might be getting the BKN pick. That's a win for the Cavs imo.

There's this guy named Jae Crowder you might want to google him

There's this guy named Gordon Hayward you might want to Google him. Honestly getting rid of IT is a better defensive impact.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Both Lebron n IT would be UFA next year, but at least they'll get an asset in crowder they can sell and w/e pick they get from boston as well.

Gee, LeBron versus Kyrie in the ECF.

I wonder if "No Chance in Hell" plays every time Adam Silver walks into a room.

Boston just got fleeced. Kyrie isn't worth nearly that much.

Well done by Koby Altman on his first big deal.

I.T. for Irving is almost a wash slight edge to Irving defensively

Losing Avery Bradley for Gordon Hayward hurts defensively

Losing Jae Crowder and replacing him with a 19 year old rookie or 20 year old sophomore hurts defensively big time

Cavaliers win this trade, they got a great haul for Irving while good, probably has alot to prove still.

Boston is a problem now. I fear Kyrie man. Cavs are worse but still better than us with LeBron. Raps firmly in 3/4th with Washington.

They can still roll Irving/Smart/Hayward/Morris/Horford and be almost as good if not better than last season. Not a humongous issue and they even improved on O

Yep. As a Raptors and LeBron fan I am happy with this.
I'm not even sure the Celtics make it to the ECF.
