Why is Kawhi so quiet?

While I agree you woo Kawhi and sell him and uncle Dennis on the city etc, I believe the key to sway him is his girlfriend/daughter.
If they don't make the move to Toronto 100% he leaves. I highly doubt this though.
If they join him in Toronto, they need to be the ones to be really sold on it to tip the balances.
I'm guessing due to his past, him being a father is a big deal and if he can still get similar compensation but feels his family/children could have a better life in Toronto then that may be enough to sway him.
All other major cities have great entertainment, food, shopping, culture, etc and many have better weather and familiarity to him so Toronto won't win out on those alone. It has to be a more personal, emotional long term reason on top of winning for him to consider.

Anyone else wonder how Kawhi's interactions were with his Spurs teammates? Since he came into the league, he's always been a Spur, surrounded by vets like Duncan, Parker, Manu, Pau, LMA... even the young guys on those teams seemed pretty "serious" in demeanor, like Slo Mo, Danny, Bertans, etc. And seeing how Parker and Ginobili threw him under the bus last season, I wonder if his aloofness was a detriment to him in the locker room amongst all those old dudes.

Apparently Kawhi was friends with Jonathon Simmons, who's now with the Magic. Simmons seemed like he could've been a "fun" guy, as evidenced by Pop trying to headlock him playfully during the Spurs vs Magic game (but he actually headlocked a hooded TRoss)

Anyway, my point: I'm interested to see whether the Raps' players have any impact on Kawhi personally. Beyond the Kyle/DeMar and Jak/Skills bromance, you can see that there's a lot of chemistry in our locker room. Here's hoping Kawhi gets to open up in his year here and maybe our guys can get through to him...
