Well that was ugly. Norm saved us completely, because the rest of the team was playing like crap for almost the whole game. I guess Davis played alright too.

Crazy choke job until the steadiness of Fred at the end there on his free throws and ballhandling. I understand why Nurse didn't want to put his starters back in, but yikes.

And yeah, as lobos pointed out, some of the foul calls that Trae was getting were absurd. Unbelievable that he gets more respect, as a second year player on a team that is horrible, than veterans on a championship winning team.

I can't imagine the team is happy about this one. Still, a W is a W. Thank Norm and onto the next one.

McCaw's awful and gets too many minutes, i dont disagree. But the Raps only have a couple bench guards, and that bench lineup built up the huge lead to begin with. Who else do you play in those minutes? Do you think there's any less criticism if he brings starters in when we're up 15 or 20?

i don't think there is anyone better on the trade market that could replace Norm's instant offense off of the bench. He's become our Lou Williams or Jamal Crawford. and he's pretty cheap at $10M per

the Toronto media needs to ask Nick what the heck is going on with this pat mccaw crap. I know they don't like to ask difficult questions but he's so obviously a g league talent being force fed minutes that this is absurd. I no longer think Nick is a great coach because of how much he's playing McCaw. We deserve answers.

Young gets so much BS called for him. Players on the Raps and the Hawks got tons of contact on drives with no call, but if you as much as graze Young he's going to the line. Most infuriating part of the NBA is that different players get different calls. A foul should be a foul no matter who commits it on who.

I agreed with Nurse keeping the bench to finish the game.

The part I don't understand is when he went to Pascal/Marc/FVV he took Davis & Norm out in favor of McCaw. If you are going to go back to starters might as well put Lowry in as well. But in what world is McCaw a better handler then Norman/Davis? The guy is to passive that against the press you need someone who is not afraid to make mistakes.
