After watching some of him on YouTube just now I definitely think he’s worth the flyer at 59. With our development we can certainly turn him into a rotation guy. Welcome to Toronto!

Plays like a poor mans Norm.

Norm had better measurements, and looked far more explosive (guy was getting Westbrook and Wade comparisons athletically in summer league).

He does have Norms craftiness which Norm didnt pick up until the 2019 season.

Norm has better hair and beard though.

absolutely. at the end of the day, we're better as a team than we were before the draft. and that's always what you want to see as a fan.

Im getting a poor man's Norman Powell vibe from him but also can be relied on to run your teams offense.

Could be an underrated pick up.

I think this was a steal. He's a super athletic and aggressive wing who can also handle the ball and shoot it. I know he played in a "lesser" conference after transferring from an even lesser program, but he looks really good. Does anyone know why he almost went undrafted?

One thing is for sure. Raptors definetly have their type.

I wouldn't be surprised if they had their own analytics and formula. Because these two look eerily similar to FVV and Norm. Even the Siakam/Bruno picks had parallels to Giannis (who Masai frantically tried to trade up for)

Masai def has his type. He hits on some: Pascal, Norm, FVV... and sometimes he misses: Bruno

Hes just been hitting more than missing lately and let's hope this draft he hits!

I'm not complaining though.
