Re: No thread on Bosh making the hall of fame?
I think back on topic, I am a little surprised he's making it? But I guess two titles, and a ton of all star appearances squeaks him in.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars
Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid
There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Don't care what he said about Toronto. I blame him for not being honest to management. He said that he wanted to be the man on any team he was on. This gave management, and fans, the feeling that the Raptors had a shot at signing him. If he was an upstanding person he should have told management that they had no chance. We had a better chance to sign Kawhi, than we did Bosh, and at least Kawhi was honest all along about his desire to go home.
When he joined two others, to be the third wheel, he lost all of his integrity.
The man made no one else better. A team leader has that effect on people. Look at the comments today from Khem Birch and FVV on the leadership greatness of Kyle Lowry. Bosh did not have that.
I don't want to see his jersey in our rafters.
Integrity matters.
Lowry Yes.
DeRozen, Yes.
No one else, yet. The others, who may be eligible, are far from retirement.

Re: No thread on Bosh making the hall of fame?
meh i don't care
the guy played hard for the raptors when he was there, and kept the team competitive
earned the right to leave for a better organization
giving as people said, we had bad management
however, the way he left the raptors, left a really bad taste in everyone's mouth.....
for that reason, the raptors are smart to never have his jersey retired.....
Kyle Lowry will likely have his jersey retired, provided he leaves the organization in the right manner

Re: No thread on Bosh making the hall of fame?
Him coming on tv talking about the Raptors during their Championship run just screamed bandwagon, especially the shots he took at the city on his way out. Supported him when he was here, but he really had no class on his way out plus collusion, and disgusting how he latched back on during the championship run trying to be a Raptor again.

We should be more pissed at Colangelo than Bosh. Dude put Bargnani, Hedo, a washed-up J.O, Triano, etc. beside him - blowing draft picks and free agent signings.
Bosh never led this team out of the first round but he also didn't have much help. I don't blame him for leaving while BC was in office.

When Anthony Davis makes the HoF, Pelicans fans won't care about it either. And he was better than Bosh

Meanwhile he delivered a chip.
Bosh delivered peanuts.
Go back to bed
Bosh re-signed with us, Kawhi left after one year.
Get out of bed.

Kawhi brought us a ring in 1 year. Bosh couldn't even get us to the second round in 7 years.
He was surrounded by the crappiest supporting cast in team history.
Nope.. VC WAS....

He didn't like Toronto and he hated playing with Calderon. A good friend of mine dated his brother Joel, whenever she was over, Chris was quiet vocal about it.

It seems like a life time since he was a Raptor! Congrats to him though...he shouldn't be getting that much hate on here.

Re: No thread on Bosh making the hall of fame?
Like others have said, he barely acknowledges his time with the Raps. I know he's going in as a Miami Heat player, but I don't think even their fanbase really has a strong emotional attachment to him, I could be wrong though.
Side note: These dues like Melo, PG13, etc who burnt bridges with the only fanbases who truly appreciated and connected with them will probably be in awkward spots when it comes to team alliance once they retire, no fanbase will really give a damn about them. I know they're multi-millionaires, but I'd bet good money that they wish they had a fanbase that showers them with love.

Re: No thread on Bosh making the hall of fame?
I’m sure he will come and be loving towards the Raptors in his 50s when he realizes no other fan base cares about him.
Miami has many more stars who they care about.
By then though, even Toronto will give little thought to Bosh.
Good player, congrats, but luckily many have surpassed him as Raptors and have had more success to make him just one of the good players to play for the team, not the best.

Bosh talked crap about us. Left us after being a franchise guy. And gave us losing seasons.
Kawhi did his job and dipped.
So ya i dont care about Bosh, salami.

Hate? It's not hate. There is a difference between hate, and kissing his feet. People are just saying he does not qualify for the type of recognition by our team that would put his jersey in the rafters. Miami can do that if they want, but we need to have integrity.
