Not sure why NBA didn't put this game in Toronto if they really wanted to celebrate the first NBA game properly. There's no Leafs game or any events schedule for tomorrow at SBA anyways.

Is NY area audience that much of a sway than actually being authentic? Just seems like a missed opportunity unless this is planned for the 100th anniversary with Huskies jerseys :\

It was nice to win the Orlando and Pacers games, but it wasn't pretty. A rewatch (of the opposing feed while on my elliptical) tells the sad tale. So I gotta bad feeling the Raptors are gonna be destroyed by the Knicks. We've been able to beat some weak, weakened teams. But now the chickens could be coming home to roost. Without Pascal, OG tired and Precious pooching it, a blow-out loss seems likely.

I'm not saying I'm pro-tank at this point. The condensed schedule, having to play against bigger Cs and heavy minutes for Fred and OG are just setting up for a big loss to a credible, fairly rested team. The Knicks have only played six games to this point. Raps desperately need Delano, Svi and Gary to come through again.

my guess? in case covid was an issue with travel to canada.

If the NBA had any genuine intention to recognize Toronto as an OG team or league classic it would have done so since 1995.

Winning the title in 2019 forced the league and media to see us one level above an expansion franchise (barely). Keep winning and things will take care of itself.

It’s easy on the eyes, looks nice, most websites nowadays have em. Don’t know why such a basic function still hasn’t been added.

Was watching old svi highlights and in comments someone said he looks like klay and I can’t Unsee it… the way he moves, that sort of awkward mechanical yet coordinated way he handles the ball, looks like he’s stiff yet also bouncy at the same time… if only he could shoot higher percentages like klay…

his FG%, FT%, 3PT% are all higher/comparable than Klay's best years. just saying lmao

Klay's best year probably 2015-16 and career average

Yeah that's my biggest concern with this too. They are big and fast, except their backcourt, maybe we can exploit them there. Everyone talks about their shooting but they have strong physical defense. That Robinson kid scare the crap out of, he's a certified fast twitch goon, I don't want him anywhere near Scottie. He murked Patrick Williams in their bulls win.
