Thus has got to the only year I can remember

Apart from Tampa where going home is an advantage for the other team

I’m hoping for a w but honestly expect a big fat L

I was trying to figure out why the f Boucher was helping so High but u suspect it’s just nicks crazy defense

The Aaron gray defense

This forum has turned into trash over the last couple of years with comments like this or the other day with the Gobert screen (someone turned it into their sig). I used to come here for some folks with a sense of humour and creativity (see FVV Christmas balls meme a couple of post games ago). Now, too many folks here are sooo toxic. Interesting how at the beginning of the year most people were thinking we were about a .500 team. We’re close to that and the game threads suggest we’re the 1998 Raptors. People can debate all they want on a player’s style of play. But wishing injury on someone because he doesn’t pass to your favourite player says a lot about you.

Ever since we won the championship, the fanbase has turned toxic. There's a plethora of new "fans" that make the fanbase look downright silly.
Constantly reading & hearing dumba** comments all over RealGM and social media.
From the ignorant remarks constantly being made against Pascal on a regular basis to the idiotic comments made by toxic tWo fans hoping for our own players to get injured.
Lot of goofs on this board now. Seems like people lost their mind over the pandemic & became dumber just sitting around at home for the last 2 years.

A lot of the tWo guys have been around since before the championship and have been fans for years. Don’t bunch the losers who wish injuries onto us

Re-read what I said... I'm referring to the "toxic" tWo fans - those that wish injuries on our guys. I'm well aware tWo has been around for nearly a decade so no I'm not making any generalizations. There's nothing wrong with hoping the team loses (i.e. tanks for a top prospect), I've been part of that group plenty of times in the past. But wishing injuries on your own players is downright pathetic.

Lol. Not hating LMR, but it’s hilarious when people say to ‘re-read’ as if something was obviously clear from a previous not so clear post.

I'm gonna be a horfraud hater for time, I still haven't forgotten about TJ Ford

Same here. I’d barf if Horford ever got traded here

Still amongst the worst fouls I’ve seen. I remember reading how he visited TJ in hospital and TJ told him it wasn’t his fault and stuff. Pfffft… TJ was just being the bigger person.

Fair. I could've worded it better for sure.

I don’t know. I think the Raps boards have always had the same types of posters, the good and the bad. I don’t think this place is more toxic or anything like that. When I first started lurking the Raps boards in 2005 there were all kinds of crappy takes. The difference was back then and up to like 2017, is we expected to lose and the humour was based from that position. Now we expect to win and so the vibe is different. I prefer the vibe where we expect to win, but I also miss the self depreciating fun.

Yup. He’s handled himself seemingly with class while he hasn’t played. Hope it’s nothing serious.

What is wrong with our fan base?

This board ain't what it used to be.

My experience over the past two months, a lot of these wishing injuries on our own players narrative goes back to the apparent "selfishness" of the team and not passing the ball enough to Scottie Barnes. Which is a completely fabricated narrative that these people are coming up with to justify why he's not putting up the numbers they want. I mean you have someone literally complaining after we win a game why Barnes didn't get more touches. Ridiculous. And yet there he is leading all rookies and on pace to win ROTY

I've said it once and I'll say it again, there is a large proportion of people on this board who have become toxic stans who just want to see Scottie put up the numbers even If it means losing big. Like we could lose the next 20 games in a row as long as Scottie Barnes gets all the touches and piles up the stat sheet. I guess they think they know what's best for his development over an actual extremely well-run basketball organization like the raptors who always developed well. Let's instill that losing culture like the Sixers, Pistons, and Kings. I'm sure it will work out great!

It's a black-and-white concept to them, there's no in-between. You can't play competitive basketball and develop a budding superstar.

Assume poster means miss this game. As do I. Why? Forces Nurse to start Fred, OG, Scottie, Siakam, Achiuwa. At least for 1 game. Guess it's not happening
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Marcus smart seems like kryptonite for fred. Its not a good matchup for us. Damn smart seems like such a great player against us. Does so many intangibles.

Perhaps better worded to hope GTJ comes off the bench then. I would definitely love to see a few games like that. Hoping a player is injured though, regardless for the amount of time, is never a good look.

Man, we shouldn't be bellow them in the standings at this point.

It's this constant injury turnover hammering us...need a stable roster.
