I'll always have a soft spot for JV. Remember he came back here on his own to support the team back in 2019, when we faced the Magic, and they still didn't give him a ring for that season.

It's funny that guys like him, Kyle, DeMar, Norm will always be Raptors in my mind no matter how long they've been gone.

Shame we're having all these players from that time come back and there's no fans to give them the ovations they deserve. =(

He's super talented but he's still raw. Give him the ball in the half court and he iso's the court off and calls for a pick thats not what we want. We want him to learn how to be productive in all facets of the game.

I kind of hate when we face 5 seriously depleted teams in a row where wins are surely guaranteed, the only time he actually gets involved to be shooting is when we were losing against Utah for 3/4ths of the game and our offence was horrible.

Even then, he becomes a bail out option having to rush 3's with 1 second on the clock.

Just bring him off the bench, the starting lineup the last 5 has actually been a net negative.

That G1 vs BKN was so iconic. Felt like the Raptors couldn't buy a bucket until he tipped one in and then followed it up with an oop.
