Is Casey still in protocols?

Casey mad Nurse was "at the right place at the right time" and proofing that out by turning Bey and Diallo into the new Siakam and OG.

Let's have one season where we don't account for 20% of Casey's wins. Please.

Casey has cleared protocols and the Pistons believe his result was a false positive. He should be back.

A Yahoo article said:

Kalamian has already filled in for Casey four times over the past month, as Casey missed road games due to what the team termed personal reasons. The team is 0-4 in those contests.

I didn't know that, wonder what personal reasons were? (I know it's private just curious)

Anyway I was going to post, can Casey still own the Raps from protocols, but seems he'll be there after all.

Can it really be anything else? Casey had this game circled and took several personal days off during the month to prepare and brood.

Nurse was just on FAN590 and when asked what his ideal rotation looks like, he had this to say:

In a perfect world (where everyone is healthy) his rotation looks like:
- Starting line up is: FVV/GTJ/OG/Barnes/Siakam (Important to get these guys 36-38 minutes a night)
- Khem and Precious share the 5 spot, important to get them early in the game when team is fully healthy
- Ideally wants to get Boucher 20 minutes a night
- Flynn has grown in the sense that he's able to come into the game and organize the team well
- Says Flynn needs less volume & be more efficient

That's all he had to say. He's been pleased with the way Boucher has been playing as of late.

Most of that sounds consistent with what he does in practice, but:

No mention of Yuta, Champagnie, Svi after those top 8 seems puzzling because they all play minutes presently.

The guy that always gets zero minutes, Flynn, is the guy he went out of his way to prop-up. Makes no sense because he is not finding anything but garbage minutes for him.

Banton has fully slid out of the rotation as well, and sigh, David Johnson is healthy and not playing with either the 905 or Toronto. I think the second rounders were a bit of bust considering there are a bunch of second rounders from the past draft playing now: Brandon Boston Jr., Aaron Wiggins, Sandro Mamukelashvili.

I do like both our guys long-term, but I think with seconds you should be shooting for guys who can help now, not future players. David Johnson, I think could help now, but his injuries have derailed him too much.
