Yeah the soccer rumours and the wnba rumours just don’t go away. Would love to see Masai in this role. Not sure if he’s interested in it, but it would be an awesome pivot as it would level the playing field with the leafs in a big way.

Chief financial officer Cynthia Devine has been named interim president and CEO during the search for Friisdahl’s successor.

A multi-sport CEO position would look awfully good on a resume if the League Commissioner role were to open up. Getting the Raptors and Leafs to a point of sustained success at the same time would make him a shoo-in for the job.
