Such a major trap game. We're playing a bunch of role players that have a whole lot to prove.

Still expecting another masterful performance from Siakam and a big Raptors win! iA

With all due respect, Scottie is a culture setter. He's been in the team USA program since before highschool - people can have stuff to prove or can bet on whomever. Hard work can beat talent when talent doesn't work hard

But when it comes to Scottie...

He's just better.

Pop was happy to have Demar and Aldridge chucking long 2s as he waged his war against the 3pt shot and it blew up in his face. Pretty suspect

I bought two bags, or else it wouldn’t be looking promising.

I guess you don't have anymore scary tests coming, cuz m and ms don't sound like brain food!

Oh many more scary tests coming man, next one is tomorrow afternoon’s test worth 20% of the course.

I don't know if this is sarcasm. DD did improve at SAS I thought. Pop had him play some PG, improve his passing and playmaking

Agreed, he seems to one of those players who’s been groomed from an early age to be an NBA superstar AND doesn’t take any of it for granted. The Tatums and Bookers of the world who rose up through the elite USA Basketball ranks.

Pascal is definitely an exception to the rule though, with his insane work ethic and love for improving his game, overcoming the late start.

Poeltl is one of the most underrated players in the NBA and the Raptors need to seriously try to get him back. He's 80% of Gobert's rim defense but more mobile on the perimeter, has a variety of nifty finishing moves inside 6 feet and can pass the ball. Hugely impactful.

Thad + 1st for Poeltl - do it Masai. We'll have his bird rights and his new contract will be cheap because of how undervalued centers are nowadays, prob can re-sign him for under 18 million.

Don't know if that gets it done from Spurs' side. But that move would really boost us higher in the East

I wouldn't necessarily call it a trap game for that exact reason. San Antonio has already beaten Minnesota twice as well as the Sixers and Bulls. They've also been at home for a week and have an extra night of rest.

Theoretically, this should be an "easy" win. With how well the Spurs have been playing to start the season and how they've been catching good teams off guard, it wouldn't be that much of a surprise if we lost. Obviously still hoping for and expecting a win though, especially if Johnson is out in addition to Vassell.

took my son out last night with a telescope for the first time, pretty fun to look at celestial objects and see such detail of the moon's craters, at the end of the night we always do a "favorite things" game where we say what each of our fave things were from the day and he said the telescope

but even with the scope, we saw no chance in hell for the spurs to win...

on paper we should beat the brakes off them, but they'll be well-prepared. never under-estimate pop coached teams. if they come out with the same effort as they showed against the hawks, we should win though. especially with all the injuries they have.

contain keldon we should be fine. sochan, if he plays, gonna open some eyes and have ppl feeling like he's a raptors type

A glimpse at Spurs FRP Malaki Branham (#20 traded from Toronto.)

I'm so glad Raps have LOKO who is already contributing as a starter.

This will be a much tougher game than Atlanta. I can see a real center like Poetl giving us trouble and the Spurs are always a well run team.
