This certainly speaks to "continuity". AKA run it ba-ack. Run it back. Run it back.

Maybe Sergio is indeed a finalist but that tweet sounds like they're speculating on the other two and just basing it off the gambling odds.

The other 2 finalists are most likely Jordi Fernandez and Darko Rajakovic, considering they are the only candidates who have reportedly interviewed multiple times.

The only reason why is because of people betting that Kawhi would be traded to the Raptors. When that happened it became gospel.

That was basically nurses system bro, force transition and trash shots to get more offensive rebounds and attempts than the opposition and punt half court offense hard

Trades are a lot different since leaks can come from one of two organizations. Unless a front office is doing the leaks themselves, potential coaching hires are just speculation and reading tea leaves.

iirc Jordi is also in the running for the Suns job, so you have to wonder if there's some fake leverage being thrown out there by his agent re: our interest.

Steve Nash would be the "our team is trash and we have no **** clue what we're doing but Nash will be a great distraction from this and we would garner praise from Doug Smith" hire.

I'd like to think the franchise is beyond needing a distraction, and having a Canadian icon legend to lend credibility. We won a championship, we should be beyond all that

I would be good with Sergio. He’s a very good coach and I honestly feel that Nick got credit for a lot of Sergio’s ideas.
Sergio, Jordi, and …

Sergio means no major roster changes though

I had a theory, I guess we will see. Nurse's coaching took a nosedive ever since he had Watson as top advisor off the bench.

Griffin, Scariolo, etc. were better advisors.

Maybe it was a coincidence but it's not impossible that there may be something to it.

Too much smoke lately for it to NOT be Kevin Young. I think Docs gonna be unemployed. But who knows, he always seems to survive and have a coaching gig.
