I like it. A younger fresh voice and good with player development for our youth movement. I wonder how this works with all the vets like Siakam, FVV, OG - does this signal rebuild?

Sounds like Scariolo was not even of one top candidates. Per Woj it was between Atkinson, Lee and Darko.

A new Darko era begin.

I am not saying that we need to tear down everything but hopefully we can go younger and maybe do one step back to do two steps forwards.

Darko has a strong player development background and the dude wrote academic papers on the pick and roll so im sure hes capable with xs and os. Good hire

It's tough to say....I think even with keeping the current core, they wanted a coach who can also compete but also develop the young players.

I wonder if this gives us an "in" with Serbian talent in free agency or in the draft.

Theres a couple of Serbians that are draft eligible - Nikola Djurisic and Tristan Vukcevic. Both project to be 2nd rounders though.
