I think Heat ends up getting him....they'll be desperate to get him after losing Strus/Gabe and Lowry being old.

Also Dame would actually want to play in Miami....that's a key factor

Even if raptors able to pull this off, realistically , we wouldn’t go far anyways. Lillard will have the best chance to compete for a Larry ab would be the heat

I don't really see how we'd be in play for him. Hoping he goes to Miami Heat. I think they are the right team in spirit of what he's been about all these years.

Would be interesting to see how things play out with Lowry and if coming back to Raptors would be in the cards.

Gary/Chris/Thad get you most of the way there salary wise. You can probably beat the Heat offer pretty easily with just Grady and picks. Nets is another story.

If we have any chance the deal starts and ends with him. They’re gonna be hard pressed to find a better prospect in return, especially because Scottie fits in so well with their young guys - and we can’t otherwise give enough assets to get to the table.

It’s fair to want to keep him out of deals but we wouldn’t be able to get him unless Scottie were involved.

If Lowry is being dumped I wonder if the Raps can step in and scoop him up

Probably not but Portland (through Dame supposedly) had interest in trading for OG, Pascal and Jak.

Yeah to add to a dame led team there. Prob 100% likely now that he's asking out. Plus those are the guys we'd need to keep ourselves if we traded for him. Though it would prob be centered around OG and Scottie

The heat will offer Herro as their big asset. Which is laughable but that's where he wants to go. Nets have the picks if that's what Portland wants.

No u couldn't beat a Nets offer. Nets can trade picks and Claxton. That beats anything here.

Even without Claxton they can just trade more picks. They have like 9 picks in next 6 drafts.

Is there any way we can loop a FVV sign and trade into a three way deal with Dame coming to us?

If he's serious about a championship, his best bet is in the East.

that's why Raptors FO at least needs to be on the phones...don't let the Heat get away with a robbery, otherwise you should've just started a full on rebuild.

Lillard to Miami is a great fit, and I hope he goes there

The better the top half of the East gets, the more likely it is that Masai makes a trade imo

Return to Toronto Raptors
