We couldn't get a single player back with upside or even a guy who could be a good contributor going forward lol. Not happy with this trade. I was going to follow whichever team Siakam joined, but annoyed enough with the players we got back that I hope Indiana fails lol

I have a softer spot for the Knicks who gave us a fair deal.

Why would you need a narrative flip? Siakam is the 3rd star to get traded as an UFA to b (Kyrie, Harden before him). This is in line with what they go for. The problem for the FO was letting it get to this point

This is pretty much a poo poo platter, especially given the picks will all end up being late round 1st's in this year's draft, which is known to be extremely weak. Hopefully they can be packaged with other players to improve draft position or gain better assets back.
