Also, what does everybody think about Curry vs Ionescu 3-point contest? I find it a bit bizarre as they will both be shooting from different distances and with different balls, but it should be a spectacle.

He likely wont get too many minutes in his first all star game. Likely will get a few mins in both halves but as an injury replacement the coaches likely wont be dedicated a bunch of mins for him.

Feel the same. The stars just used to seem bigger than they are now. Hopefully product dont suffer too much in the future when Lebron and Steph retire but im not optimistic. You saw last year with no Steph, KD, and only a few mins of Bron how the all star game suffered. Younger players dont wanna do anything for the game outside of the bare minimum. Like Embiid only arrived a few hours before the game, which wouldve been unheard of during the Stern years.

Scoot's a rookie, yet the most experienced rising star competitior ever, making his 3rd appearance.

McClung actually looks like he is an NBA player skill wise, kind of surprising no team really wants to give him an opportunity despite how well he's performed in the G League.

Chet and Wemby playing in this game would make me nervous if i was either of their teams. Lotta collisions and contact so far for an exhibition game.

McClung is currently a free agent as far as I can tell. We've got two open roster spots and could use some depth at PG. I'd be happy to see us sign McClung for the rest of the season, giving some playing time to guys like him is worth a shot.

Yeah, he probably won't get very many minutes, but I have a feeling that his teammates are going to like him. He has a pass first mindset, so he'll be eager find fun ways to set guys up. He won't be like some of the young stars who ball hog and chuck in an effort to prove themselves.

I made this comment on the gb

It just shows the difference between pick up games and nba games.

Nobody is saying he's going to light the league on fire but he looks to have a decent Basketball IQ, can shoot the ball and is a plus athlete as well. He seems good enough to at least get a 2 way deal.

Annoying but not quite as puke worthy as Lebron’s rookie season.

Alondes Williams looked pretty nice. Miami might’ve found another good one
