If okc wins this it’s a blowout next game at home.

An absolutely terrifying game for the Pacers/Knicks to see. Both teams getting contributions from everyone, including deep depth. Shot making, hustle rebounding, playmaking. All against a level of defense neither eastern team can even hope to match on their best day.

Too bad they’re still not the SuperSonics.

Would be great if Shae wins it.. would be like the face of Canadian basketball winning and beating US poster boy Ant and others amongst others along way.

yeah except the narrative is gonna be refs and free throw merchant. Isn’t it crazy for once a Canadian gets the favourable whistle though.

Let's see how they do vs Haliburton if pacers can pull through but I think a big crowd will be cheering for the pacers because of the US narrative for sure.

In terms of favorable whistle it's not really anything new, we've seen countless superstars get that because they are hard to guard and the league tries to protect them so they can cry all they want.

Yet another game ruined by a stupid loophole.

I've said this repeatedly. There is an easy fix. For any foul after the penalty.....the team that has been fouled should have the option of inbounding the ball instead of being forced to take 2 shots. Simple and it has no unintended consequences.

What a brutal, anti-climatic ending.

What the hell was Shai doing there.

Also I’m not sure why people compare ant to mj, he doesn’t have the same killer instinct.

Ant stunk it up and Randle was even worse.

I’m not sure how it’s a loophole? A foul after the bonus has always been free throws…

The awarded free throws were never intended to be a detriment. In this context....they are intentionally committed to act as a detriment to the foul teamed.

The solution is simple. When you are fouled after the penalty....you have the option of shooting 2 free throws or inbounding the ball.

It was a wall to wall great game, and unlike the east series where there's tons of fun in it, but you're watching TJ making practice jumpers against the worst big man defender in the league, this was a contender performance battle.

Is it still called a gentleman's sweep if the one win of the losing team was a 40 point blowout

So you can chuck the ball clear across the court -- WITHOUT THE BALL TOUCHING THE GROUND -- and force them to inbound where it goes into the stands?

I guess that's true because before the three point shot came along in 1980, there was no such detriment.
