Hawks are paper tigers. Trae is holding them back. Trade him and build around Dyson/Jalen Johnson/Risacher and the lottery pick they will likely receive from New Orleans.

All the talking heads gassing up the Hawks because they added Porzingis and NAW...bad takes all around.

I think it's more a sign that Atlanta's new additions (Tingus Pingus, NAW) will need more time to gel than originally anticipated whereas the Raptors had the continuity advantage since they brought back...basically everyone from last year? Obviously Ingram only played this one game with us thus far and Sandro's filling in the bench big role (And doing a phenomenal job at that so far) but while I still think there will be some growing pains for the offense, there's a lot of good signs on that end of the floor along with the defense being legitimate.

If we hit our open 3s, we would've dropped 160

138 points on 6 made 3s.

Jak was 7/8 from the field. A little slow on rotations maybe

Quick, outside of his 0-7 from 3, played a good game. Bad shooting games happen

The Hawks just didn't box out. The game plan was "Vibe".

How about Dick leading the team with 8 FT attempts? Super encouraging.

Im not sure what could’ve been disappointing about Jakob tonight..

Exactly...Jak can't be disappointing because honestly I don't have any expectations for him. Jak just gotta be Jak.

Jokic is a tier above any one in the league. He killed us alone.

The fact that the starters put up 90 points alone on 65 TS% despite only hitting two threes is extremely impressive. I know a lot of people were worried about how the pieces (especially RJ) were going to fit, but that was about as good of a first game that you could ask for from them as a unit. Meanwhile, the bench also pulled their weight and pretty much everyone that stepped on the floor looked in midseason form with the exception of maybe Battle.

Excited to see how we perform over the entirety of the season. Health is going to be the biggest aspect. If we can avoid multiple stretches where we are missing 1-2 of BI/Scottie/Poeltl for weeks at a time, we'll probably get close to 50 wins. Lots of depth and lots of players looking to prove themselves.
