I just looked up Walker's PER this year, and it's 30!! Ridiculous!! His TS is 55% too. This kid's gonna be a stud.

I think its important to note that when a player has matched Williams in physicality and mobility, he isn't anywhere close to the player he's hyped up to be. Look at his games against UCLA and Texas for reference.
IMO, he doesn't show the first step explosion to beat mobile power forwards at the next level. He'd would have to have an elite shot off the bounce and catch & shoot situations in order to consistently beat 4s inbthe NBA. Not to mention he's also an average passer, if that.

Yeah. He's definitely not a SF (in a similar way that Kleiza is not a true SF). A few of us had that discussion last game. Teams night be able to get away with him at SF though. Kinda like Green in Boston.
I like my SF's to have penetration skills like a Pippen or LBJ. That's why those guys are HOF players though. None of those in this draft.
I guesss I'm of the opinion that he's simply a good basketball player. Whatever position he plays doesn't really matter. The guy can ball.
I do think he's a PF in the NBA though that can play a little SF. He's already a pretty thick guy & he's young, so he's only going to get bigger/ more muscular. He'll be fine as a PF in the NBA. Just like Blake Griffin.

Zona lost their mojo after Williams went out
Only Lamb is helping his draft stock while Kemba's and Williams' are probably where they were before the game

Sullinger, Walker, Williams, Irving, Barnes and Knight have played too well this tournament to not declare. Their stocks are rising by the game. Our pick is becoming more valuable I wouldn't be surprised to see a team or two trade out of the top 10.

I was thinking the same thing. If only he was a few inches taller, then what???
It would be a nice perk, but a PG is a PG.
Chris Paul doesn't seem to have any trouble.
Kemba is the best pure PG outside of Irving in my mind. He's got great vision, but the lack of talent on his team turns him into more of a scorer. I think he's going to be one of the best picks in the draft if he gets picked 5 or later.

Who has a better shot at being SF? Perry or D-Will?

I dont get it, why would teams trade out if those picks are getting more valuable.

think of all the speedy sub 6 pgs running around the L these days. Brooks, Lowry, Lawson, Nelson, etc. You just need to have quickness, handles and the ability shoot.

I think the raps should consider trading down. I think Tristan Thompson would be a nice replacment for Ed Davis. Send Davis out for a pick and pick up a guy like Knight if hes still around. If not maybe Terrence Jones or Leonard. Unless we can get one of D-will,Irving or Barnes.
