I always want as many basketball games of my team to view as possible. But in this case maybe its best to get Miami early?

I agree that Miami SHOULD be able to take care of everyone in the east. But the Nets do have some quirky matchups that really frustrate a lot of teams. But we barely won all the games we won and Playoffs Heat > Regular season Heat

outside of 2-3 enormous homers, no net fans think we can beat miami.

Last game a nets fan came here talked **** and then posted a gif from the game of thrones spoiling a crucial scene from the series. **** that, if we did the same thing over there we would get suspended.

Its not best to get them early imo. You guys could of went to the ECF and even if you lost its like oh okay they went to the ECF and came up short against the defending champions but on the way there they beat the #4 seed and #1 seed.

Now you guys have the label of being pussies for tanking to face us and all the pressure is on in the 2nd round to beat the Heat (if you get past us). A 2nd round exit looks bad for the most expensive team in NBA history that tanked to get a easier matchup.

Guaranteed? Come come now. Also the easier class comes with rest. Rest for a team that needs Pierce and KG. Both of whom are like useless on back to backs. Thats really what it was about. In speaking with people within the organization, it sounds as though the majority would rather avoid Chicago and face Toronto.

I dont take it personal. It was the smart thing to do but still a pussy move for a 200 million $ team with a ton of star power. I also think the Nets screwed themselves over and screwed us over in the process.

Very interesting about the Billy King situation with the Melo deal. Didn't know that. A lot of hate between both sides, a lot of history as well.

Wanting to face Toronto and knowing how to even do it are two different things. There was actually uncertainty among all the seeds. It was about rest.

id rather have the better chance of not being 1 and done. and i think the bulls meant 99.9999% chance of us being 1 and done.

Also, how is the ECF "high reward"? is losing to miami in the ECf really any better then losing to them in round 2? I can understand if we were like the pacers last year, a younger team that will be together a while and can build on that. but we are really in win now or bust mode.... there is no consolation. and since we arent winning it all, id rather at least not go 1 and done. when we would face miami should we move on is irrelevant to me
