I don't understand how Teletovic is open almost every half court set, of all the people to leave open on the court they don't want to guard Joe Johnson or Teletovic when then they are camping the 3 point line... crazy!

Patterson and AMir are to blame. They just leave him wide open like idiots.

This. Whose **** idea was it to inbound the ball(with a 40 foot pass no less) into the Brooklyn end with 1 second left? We almost pulled a Mo Pete. If you really have to throw it in you are better off turning it over closer to your end. Or just take the 5 second violation, Brooklyn was out of timeouts, they wouldn't have enough time to advance the ball. Just unbelievably stupid.

I was screaming at my tv so loud thought Williams was gonna pull a Patman with 1 second left

Teams that are up 22 going into the 4th probably win 99% of the time. You think any of these stats apply to the Raptors?

Replace Plumlee with Blatche and Casey wouldn't have an answer.

Agreed, I think this is more of an emotional loss to Brooklyn because they came so close. I think domination would of resulted in anger from the Nets using it as motivation.

And as you have said, this prevents overconfidence from the Raptors. The result of overconfidence occured in the second half tonight.

As Jack always says: "Better to win ugly than lose pretty."

Typically the reason we give up leads is because we play conservatively, waste the shot clock, and then just get a shot up. Teams run off the misses and able to get into their sets much quicker, and get good opportunities.

This time though it was like they were so careless on the offensive side. Quick shots. TOs leading to like 6-8 PTs. I think we had 3 and 1s + 3 fouls on 3pointers? JJ was playing like man possessed. They were also hitting 3s with Anderson / Mirza.

We kept JJ in check. I think if they play Plumlee and/or Livingston, our strategy was perfect. Double off that guy and recover. We did that beatuifily in the first 3 quarters. Kidd to his credit brought in Mirza/Anderson/Blatche, and did good job of spacing. It will be interesting to see what lineup Kidd goes with in the 6th game.

If we lost on a JV goaltend at the end it would probably go down in infamy like 50 years from now.

It would be a bigger meltdown then the Leafs 4-1 debacle.

3 4 point plays???????????????????????????????????????????

Vasquez was the catalyst in the collapse. If we started the 4th with Lowry he could have rested in the end.

What stats are if the winning coach is Casey :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh:

I'm sure the percentage of teams with a +20 point lead going into the fourth have usually gone on to win the game too but we almost defied that tonight.

Salmons has been the only guy keeping JJ in check. Are you morons even watching the games? Jesus christ, it was JJ behind this meltdown and nobody there to guard him. As soon as Salmons came out JJ stopped scoring.

No proper post game either.

You could also see how the they started airing hockey commercials right after the game ended so you know the feed was switched quite fast.

Good there is nothing to say they fk'd up. Smelled like a loss.
