What’s more ridiculous is posters like you really believe that we’re somehow gonna have another complete MIRACLE trade for a player like Kawhi who was in argument for the best player in the league, like we’re just destined to win the biggest trade in the league and no other team will outbid us. When it’s literally impossible that we’ll be able to execute a trade anywhere near the highway robbery that was lol

Yesterday’s price is NOT today’s price lol that’s the delusion you haven’t realized yet.

You’re not getting players like Kawhi, Danny, Gasol & Ibaka while still keeping all of Lowry, Pascal, Fred, OG etc. Packages for good players now require MULTIPLE picks and good depth. It’s hilarious some of you are so jaded that you actually think that’s still viable route.

That miracle trade could only work cause:

- over the course of 6 years the raps played better and better
- found and developed players which later contributed to the chip
- instilled in them the right winning culture
- many playoff experiences before the chip
- when it was apparant that demar and kyle lack a little bit, Masai pulled the miracle
- after that he still traded for gasol to make the team better

All of that happened before and after the miracle. So stop pretending it was just Kwahi. Raps did an excellent job building this team to win. After that they tried with a new core around FVV, Siakam and OG. But they simply never grew in what we hoped for.
Now they are trying with Barnes and apparently Dick and see who else fits the ride.

And if you dont think thats a viable road, damn Boston wants a word with you. Most of their core players have been traded for or signed as free agents. Brown and Tatum are the only piece that they drafted themselves, which they have developed themselves. And Boston had exactly 1 bad season of the course of nearly 10 years.

And it's not like MU believed that core could win with no help

He tried to add Durant. He went after Lillard. Who knows what else he tried for.

Yeah, sometimes trades are tough. So are drafting stars.

Yup even Bobby said they made a very significant offer for Dame. MU knew he needed a number one guy and went real hard for those guys to team with our core. So the notion that MU was riding with a flawed core is disingenuous.

In our championship year...we added 3 new starters from the summer onward. This isn't close to be the final product of a good Raps team.

Don’t just talk out your backside, name what you think would be realistic trade packages, I’ll wait.
