Shooting aside...Dicks the better player. Battle is definitely the better shooter ATM..the rest? You're reaching.
Let's bet honest here, the difference is one guy being on the scouting report and one guy who isn't.
What thx duck do ppl see in this man? I swear man dick is another one of these players that if he was on another team you guys would be the first to call him absolute trash. Running around doing nothing **** isn’t productive. You guys are so obsessed with theoretical spacing and movement.
No he's one of those guys you'd be creaming your pants over saying the Raptors dropped the ball not drafting..
Are you saying I’d be mad? Lmao. You must not know me. Which is surprising.

Every combination of the 4 or 5 man lineup of the starters is a negative 20 or worse.
They just don’t work together.
Let's wait till Jak is healthy before deciding
Lol how much any longer ? 'til 2030 ? The best ability is also availability. This construction is a pure mess.

People at one point were saying dick was a better score than Rj and would take his minutes. Reminds me of the same dumbassery back when people were saying Deandre bembry was gonna replace Norman Powell. I swear man some of the takes are so dumb and people have the audacity to be mad at the **** I say.

The guy must have a awful injury history..
Oh...50 + games every year? A average of over 60 despite being on multiple tanking teams?
It's been 6 games... The guy had a bad back for 6 games.
Christ people wtf is wrong with you all?
I legitimately might have to just step away from these boards..this is nuts

The fact that Battle has to sit a wait and we all have to pretend like he’s not there, to save Masai and Gradeys feelings - thank god that’s over, it went in far too long.

Start Shead, play Quickley off the bench. Make Players earn their minutes regardless of where we drafted them and stop drafting players that can’t defend.

Josh Giddey who's younger, more talented and making over 7m less than IQ scored 32 points and nearly had a triple double against the Knicks but posters will still defend IQ's awful contract.

Yeah, it isn't great. But it also isn't the reason we're abysmal at defense and rebounding. And you saw Kobe do dumb crap, posturing and being a tool all the time. We just don't care to recall because mostly, he was busy winning. He's not a good example. Nor is MJ, who was a GIGANTIC d-bag.

Well, you said it all. Kobe was winning, so nobody cared. Scottie needs to win first, then he can do whatever he wants.

Comparison is the thief of joy. It's also pointless comparing the market from last year to the one this year. IQ obviously makes a lot less money if he was an RFA this last offseason than the previous one.

A lot small sample size noise through this early in the season but the bench has thoroughly outplayed the starters so far.
Ochai is chucking up bricks but is a team best 104.5 DRTG and +8.8 in NRTG.
Gradey is everybody's favorite whipping boy is also putting up a respectable 111.7 DRTG and +11.6 NRTG
Mamu has been by far the most consistent bench player and the team has been good defensively with him on the floor at 107.9 DRTG and a +9.3 NRTG
Everybody is excited about CMB but the team results have been disastrous so far when he's on the court. 137.1 DRTG and a -33.5 NRTG is horrific.
Scottie's D hasn't been great to start the year either. His 120.3 DRTG is worse than RJ and IQ who catch all the heat on that end.

IQ would be making a lot less money if the Raptors had a FO with brains and spine - he would not have gotten close to 32m last year in RFA and even less this year as a UFA - there was no mystery, everyone knew teams didn't have money and yet this eager to please FO could not help themselves being overly generous.

That should always he the rule. Unless someone has superstar scorer written all over him, don't draft guys who are sub par defenders.
Look how well we did with OG, Pascal, Fred, etc.
Why move away from that? As an organization, you should have a player "type". Personality wise, play style, etc.......and you know that player immediately when you see them. That's our.guy. He has characteristics that fit who we are and what we want to be about. Especially when you are drafting in the 1st round.

* Props to the man, the myth, the legend......TZ.
