Not even just a preseason half, but they're playing against a Wizards team that is missing their 2 best players and Bertans lol

To be fair before the Achillies Durant was a iron man and often healthy every season...He took extra long to give his injury time to heal so yeah i see him being fine this year...As for Irving he looks really good so far also looks like he been training his body looks more built and stronger...

Now if they are healthy who is beating them in the East this year?....No team in the East has a scorer on Irvings level let alone KD who is on another planet as a scorer....Giannis can score but he is not a "Scorer" Maybe Butler but hes still not on Irvings level as a scorer...

And in the playoffs you need guys that can score the ball on their own...That is why we failed so badly last year cause we lost our scorer in Kawhi and the Nets have 2 of the best Scorers we seen in this generation added with a deep team

I don't like this narrative. We didn't fail last year because of a lack of a go to guy. We lost the Celtics series because Nurse left Marc out there when it was clear to all he was washed. We had the players on the bench to win that 7th game. Would we have beat the Lakers? Maybe not, but we did not fail because of no Kawhi. Losing in the finals is not failing. We had the players to get to the finals.

He must have healed. How long until injury slows him down to the shell of himself we saw in the playoffs?

Not just that but if Siakam had average role player production, we could have still won that series and maybe the next as well. We actually had the personnel to go all the way to the finals if Siakam was in form and Nurse didn't get outcoached by Stevens and panicked all the time.

... AND Nurse left FVV on the floor the entire 2nd half of game 7 and he was noticeably gassed in the last 5 minutes. Needed to give Matt Thomas the 5-6 minutes in the 2nd half.

one role player having an ice cold streak (while another role player like Ibaka was red hot) is not the reason we lost the series.

I love Siakam, and still believe in him, but he was dreadful that series and clearly the reason we lost.

With lebron and others.. he doesn't need to score or even rebound... raptors needed much more and he can't deliver... ibaka is a loss, however.

Ok but we also went on long scoring droughts where the game just looked downright UGLY for us and the Celtics were scoring with ease ....We did get blown out in 2 of the games....It was a competitive series yes but without a real go to scorer its tough to win in the playoffs...Team ball can get you far but you need a guy you can give the ball to and ease off the pressure for guys like FVV/Lowry/Siakam....

Its a tough sell to say we will be any better then last year and to make my Point ...The Nets have 2 guys now who can put the ball in the basket with ease along with decent role players....Raptors just don't have enough either do the rest of the East...The only way Nets lose is injuries/Giannis goes god mode and becomes one of the best playoff performers...Sixers/Celtics/Raptors/Heat just don't have enough firepower to compete with a Irving/Durant led team

I don't think we will know how good this team is until we know how good this team is. Even with Kawhi, we couldn't sell the team to the US media.

I'm not arguing what we will do this year. My argument is simply pointed at the fact that Nurse stuck to his tight rotation and if he didn't, We hav the players to win that game. We didn't need Kawhi to beat the Celtics.

Every now and then I get reminded that Kobe died this year. Before all this madness. That's ****.

Did Seth Curry change his shot or was his release always this slow? It's going in so it's working either way.

Nice to see 905 alum Axel Toupane on the Warriors.

They looked okay. Pritchard will beat out Tremont Waters and Carsen Edwards at least. I think Pritchard will be a backup on Boston. He might be able to start on a bad team. His lack of defense will keep him from being a regular starter.

I'm not seeing any BLM slogans on the backs of jerseys, etc. Are we done with all that now the bubble is over?

Now that Biden won the left wing media doesn’t have to portray the “divided” America like they were before the election. Cops killing people will still happen , just won’t make the news and people won’t be outraged anymore even though it hasn’t stopped. Just isn’t “convenient” for the NBA either considering they lost viewers and money over BLM. The players are also millionaires and live pretty good so they got tired of it.
