It literally doesn't look that way at all. Despite whatever it was that Kyrie tried to set in motion, the vast majority of the players are on board with this plan (including most importantly LeBron James and the other superstars) and there are hundreds of millions of dollars that depend on them giving this a go (for both the league and the players).
Whether it ends up being a mess is a different question, but they're going to play.
It's also notable that all the complaints have come from 1) players on bad teams with nothing really to play for, 2) injured players or guys with injury concerns, and 3) Dwight Howard. (Dwight is in a contract year and already got positive publicity for his regular season play.)
This just further goes to show, the NBA should have cut right to a 16 game playoff if they were serious about the quarantine. Like half the malcontent voices are out if the Trail Blazers aren't pointlessly in the mix.
