Did he clap before or after?\ the pic was taken?

A 3 inches taller, 15 lb heavier (as a rookie) probably better playmaking -and playmaking was always one of iggys strengths- iggy. Yes. Fair comparison.Risk101 wrote:Would Andre Iguadola be the best comparison to Barnes right now?

Cade was 6 foot 8 in shoes. 6 foot 6 in socks. Same way how Scottie Barnes is referred to as a "6 foot 9" inch point guard, when he measured 6 foot 7 in socks.
i was watching the game, and he of course was wearing shoes and he looked small.
plus cade is listed 6'6""
and barnes 6'9" on the summer league site; so cade is 6'6" with shoes

It's very simple, he isn't a number one option. But as a number 2 or 3 he's elite! I'm only trading siakam for a significant upgradeWuTang_OG wrote:Brettfinch wrote:That's what I don't get, I keep hearing how bad pascal was. His numbers were solid. But everyone wants his headWuTang_OG wrote:

The key question is, what's harder to find, a player with Suggs' skillset or Barnes' skillset?
Masai's proven to find talented PG's late in draft or undrafted.
You'll never find a prospect like Scottie where we usually draft. Thats the difference.
Who even says suggs will be better than Flynn /s (kinda)WuTang_OG wrote:OakleyDokely wrote:Suggs will be good. He will likely be a high level starter for a decade or more.

If he had the same numbers on a top 5 team he would have been. That's no cap eitherYoung_Buc wrote:WuTang_OG wrote:Brettfinch wrote:That's what I don't get, I keep hearing how bad pascal was. His numbers were solid. But everyone wants his head

Pascal being solid isn't the same as Pascal being an all star starter and 2nd team all NBA....
baller16 wrote:Jalen Green's scouting is reminding me of the same thing that happened to Luka, but not as bad because he was 2nd pick.
They were both putting up crazy numbers as 18-19 year olds in a grown man's league (Euro/G-League) and yet they were overlooked in the draft to some degree. Like it doesn't get any more obvious than that to know if a prospect is legit or not imo. Green is no doubt going to be a top 5 scorer in this league

So is pascal bad or he just hasn't and probably will never reach "your" unreasonable expectations? Accept he won't be a top 10 player.Young_Buc wrote:WuTang_OG wrote:Young_Buc wrote:

Read above. I'm responding to him saying he needs a rebound year when that's not the case since he was very good as his numbers show.
He had all-star numbers but wasn't getting in because the team stunk.
Maybe rebound is the wrong term. But he was showing progression to being a top 15, top 10 player pre bubble. There was no question if he was more valuable than a player like Paul George for example. Tatum was a real debate between the 2.

There's no stat for that, but it impacts winning. Leaders have it. Kyle passed the leadership to FVV. I think he's only keeping it warm before it moves again.

Seriously. He'll be one of the leaders of the team before his rookie contract is up. It's like leadership is just ingrained into his character, he's always communicating on D and constantly talking to his teammates and letting them know what they should be doing. For as much praise as Suggs and Cade get for their BBIQ, I think Scottie might have them both beat in that department.

1. Scottie Barnes +23
2. Jalen Green +20
3. Cade Cunningham +7
4. Evan Mobley +3
how to calculate: +1 for every point, assist, rebound, block, steal;-1 for every FG missed, FT missed and turnover. Basically a way to aggregate who had the best overall box score. Obviously this stat doesn't take into account on-ball or team defense, screen setting etc but Barnes does well in all those areas that don't show up on the box score.
