Mobley is clearly the better player...

that right there should show you us passing on Suggs isn't that big of a deal. It wasn't like someone dropped to us.

He's been dribbling into alot of traps...overall though its tough because Cleveland doesn't respect the shooters. Hampton and Anthony? They cheat everytime. Overall Suggs has been good at being patient and finding his spots.

Weltman still dodging the questiom about Jalen falling to them

I still dont get it lmao. Are you saying he's not excited Jalen fell to them? That would make zero sense

what dont u get

on two occassions he deflected and wasn't enamoured with jalen .. which gives the sense that they wanted Barnes over him

I disagree, I think they are all very good prospects and very different. How they develop will determine the rest.

No i think people keep asking him about how excited he was that jalen "fell" to them at 5 but he's being reserved because its out there that they actually had suggs lower than barnes on their board (woj reported it on draft night)

Ahh gotcha

Weltman just being coy for the sake of being coy. Orlando is extremely happy Suggs fell to them. He's gonna be elite.

Yes, because your evaluation of Mobley over 2 summer league games is far more accurate than the best drafting organization in the NBA who scouted him for years.

Did I say his bust potential was based on summer league? This was mentioned before the draft that Mobley's bust potential was high due to his thin frame. I swear idk why some of you guys get so defensive with any mention of the FO.

Not defensive at all.
I find all these summer league takes hilarious.
Folks are declaring stardom/busts off of 2, sometimes as little as 1, games.
Some folks even did a re-draft based off of 1 summer league game.

Regardless of how long you've been "scouting" Mobley, you have no idea if taking him over Cade/Green would be disastrous -- he could be the best out of everybody.

mobley is the prospect im most excited about. He is making some great passes and finding cutters. He also deflected a pass backdoor even though he was out of position just due to his length. He screams 2 way superstar

I'm not saying this off just a couple of Summer leage games...but I think multiple players will end up being better than Cade when it's all said and Done.

I wouldnt be surprised if all of Green, Mobley and Suggs end up being better.

listen, I think suggs will have a lot more opporunity than mobley.

The magic suck. Sexton and garland will dominate the ball. Allen too. Cavs aren't bad. Okoro. They have a solid 5 young guys there.

magic suck so Suggs will get more shots

To be fair to Cole. Is Suggs icing him out on purpose? He's always late to get him the ball in the corner.

Lowry 6’4 and athletic is a top 10 player. Lowry himself was top 15 at one point production wise.

I don't think theres going to be a situation where they are "better". But I agree they probably be as productive/in that same conversation. There doesn't seem to be a large talent gap at this level 1-5 and even 6 with Giddey imo. Also keep in mind Cade hasn't been working out for teams and lost alot of weight recently so he's still finding his new rythm.
