Looking at the Eastern all stars last year, we could say that Simmons and Kyrie are probably out. Possibly Sabonis too if they’re sitting at the bottom of the standings

Trae Young will be added for sure. probably Demar and Bam too. Gonna be really tough. Last rookie to do it was Blake Griffin

I wish starters were still purely fan votes lol. We’d actually probably manage to get him in

Hell no. But I ain't ever been really big on Zion. Great player. Not sure he plays winning basketball.

Thats brutal. He looks MORE out of shape than before. Thats a bad sign in terms of his work ethic/desire to succeed.

He'll probably still be an allstar....but i don't see him winning anything.

Who cares about Rookie of the year when Scottie is pushing for all star. If we continue to win it can be possible he makes the all star team and can even start in the all star game.

I’m not going to post this “hot take” on the General Board since they don’t watch every Raps game like we do, but Scottie’s ceiling to me is a hybrid of Magic-Kawhi-Giannis and I’m 100% serious. He’s surpassed my initial expectations by a long shot, and I’m really excited for his continued development.

I keep trying to temper my expectations of this dude but it seems like every game he learns something new. I swear if he showed up to his next game bombing 3s from 30 feet I wouldnt even be surprised

Scottie has been exceptional, but we need to pump the brakes a bit lol. He has absolutely no chance at starting the ASG. Giannis, KD and Tatum (all 25/10/5 or better type of forwards) are pretty much locks. Then you have wings like Butler, Brown and DeRozan that are much more likely to be selected to the all-star game before Scottie as well as players like Randle, Middleton, Sabonis and Hayward. Scottie's only realistic chance at playing in the ASG is if he continues to put up 20/10 type of numbers while we're a +.500 team and he makes it as an injury replacement.

I mean just imagine how how much better he would be with an improved fitness regiment. He's "listed" at 280lbs? And looks a lot bigger now. The Pelicans should hire him a nutrition coach as well as personal chef that makes all his meals. It's just poor diet.

Yes, I know I am being greedy. But seeing Scottie mastered mid-range jumper just over the summer, I would like to see if he can add an post-move(back to the basket) before the season ended.

Any suggestions on what type of moves that he should be working on? Turnaround jumper(faded away)? Hook shot? Up and under finger rolls?

How do you know he doesn't eat those as his staple it's the extra after hours meals that make up the rest of his day that is not monitored that is contributing to his weight gain. Zion loves sugar and fast food, someone on the Pels staff noted he's seen him eating candies, cakes, burgers, fries, pizza and chugs lots of pop after practice. The fact that no one on the Pels staff has ever gotten to his face and told him the consequences of his choices means that they are scared of offending him thus leaving the franchise and demanding a trade or finishing his rookie contract. This kid is getting spoiled by his everyone including his own mother.

Umm, did you watch his highlights? He has those in his arsenal in fact his post game is very advance for his age group, he could only get better from here.

I feel completely confident with the ball in his hands. The only other player in Raptors history who made me feel that was was Kawhi.
