I just doubt Dinwiddie and DFS are enough to replace Kyrie, even if they add depth. I have to believe there is more to it for the Nets. They leaked this deal early to canvas the market.

Collins and Capela have very little value around the league. That's not enough to get Simmons, Claxton and a FRP. Nowhere near enough.

Simmons is probably a negative three 1sts contract, Claxton is probably equal to 2-1sts.
Collins and Capela is probably around negative 1-1sts combined.

So Nets package is -1 1st in value and Hawks package is -1 1st. So drop the Philly pick and it’s far maybe.

The issue is, who wants to help Brooklyn do this? They don't really have the assets we want outside of Claxton and otherwise they need facilitation for the move they want to make to help KD.

Unless they want to pivot to see KD (which more teams would of course be open to) who wants to help them make KD happy? All the teams that want to get some of our players are in direct competition with each other for KD.

This is really complicated and I don't envy MU. The chess matches here will be intense.

What will happen?
