I haven't liked one draft pick Masai made. His best pick so far is Norman Powell. And technically he was taken by Milwaukee.

Yeah, I don't like that mentality that much either: if you're gonna use the "they know more than you, you can't dislike anything they do" argument then there would be like 2 posters on this forum.

I admit I don't know 1/10000th as much as NBA GMs, but it's fun to talk about. Just because I wanted some guy doesn't mean I instantly think I'm some kinda genius.

Pascal wasn't who I wanted, but I'm looking forward to see how he'll play. I believe in Masai.

No, I agree with what you said. What I meant was why were other posters saying that his comment might be looked at negatively by teams. There seems to be nothing wrong with what he said at all.

If you're justifying Maker at 10 and Papagiannis at No. 13 then there is no point going on with this debate. Those were poor picks, too. Worse considering they were both in the lottery.

If you're the only franchise that covets or values a player you realize you can trade down, right? Sometimes the value of the pick itself outweighs the value of the player you draft. The Siakam pick is whatever, that was late first round. If you're going to burn a lottery pick on a player you could have got later in the draft you've made a mistake.

Masai made the pick, not me. I think it was a good pick.

Everybody's welcome to post their opinions as long as it's within board rules. But the fact is that most ppl are not contributing anything more than "this sucks". If your main argument relies on mock drafts, that doesn't hold much weight.
