somewhere between above average and game-changing.

let's just say he'll lock down D on whoever he's guarding, scouts compare him to Iggy because of the versatility and elite defensive ability. Btw did y'all know his cousin is Chris Douglas Roberts, what a small world out there.

man if barnes doesn't declare, we better get a top 2 pick at the least. This year's tanking would be for nothing

I don't really get it Rhett. Can you explain a little bit? So he's no longer on his Spanish team? Was it the whole Hoop Summit thing?

Nice, that means Biyombo is fully committed to coming over here to play right away, we wouldn't have to wait like we may have to with Valanciunas. On the downside, he likely won't be playing in Europe if we have an extended lockout.

Biyombo would be a long term project that I want nothing of. It seems like he had one good game and that took him from not being in the draft to top 10.

RT @InsideScoopHeel: Roy Williams tells ESPN1000 that he does not expect Harrison Barnes to return

from ESPN chat

Any idea when we may hear anything from Barnes? Also are there any recruits in 2011 you think of as highly as you thought of Barnes?

Dave Telep
Harrison Barnes is legitimately torn. I think his "legacy" is a big concern to him and he knows UNC would have a title run should he stay. Factor in the lockout and the decision is complicated. I think he goes 1-5 in the draft so its hard to pass that up but he's a young man with extraordinary long term vision.

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

We're taking Barnes if we stay at 3, or if some team likes Barnes more than, say, Derrick Williams, Williams could be available to us as well.

I'd take Barnes at 2 and D Will at 3, assuming Kyrie goes 1; however, with the way DWill played this year I wouldn't be shocked if the Raps picked him before Barnes.

If Barnes really does stay then I hope he and DWill go head-to-head in workouts, that would be ideal from our perspective.

We are currently 3rd in the draft and he's projected there.

It's destiny baby!

Harrison better be a damn Raptor next year (but if Williams is on the board I'm not so sure lmao).

Please be true. We need another buffer guy just in case we drop. We can then have Irving, Barnes, Williams & Kanter to pick from. Of course that only buffers one spot, but it's better than having no buffer.

After reading about his game, and looking at some footage. I've noticed that Barnes isn't that great at creating a shot, slashing to the basket and also his ball handling skills aren't the greatest. We already have a player like him in DeMar, he just needs to extend his shot out to the perimeter. A player that I think can suit our needs is Terrance Jones, the more I read about this guy and watch tape, he seems like he would be a good fit for us. 6'8 SF/PF, unlike Barnes, he has good ball handling skills, can pass and slash. Plays good defence as well, I would love for us to bring this guy in for a workout for sure.
