It was nice of you to not mention the kind of shooting night Pangos had. 3-18 and 1-10 on 3 FG is pretty bad. The good news is they were still so close and it would be hard to believe that he could shoot that bad again or that the team would continue to let him shoot when he is having an off night.
I feel so bad for Western Carolina and the Canadian guys. They were so close to making the tourney which would have been a career highlight for both.

I usually don't mention bad shooting nights or turnovers. Kabongo went 0-7 last game against Kansas and 0-6 the game before that against Oklahoma.

On a side note, anyone catch The Fifth Estate documentary "Fast Break"? A look into the issues of some Canadian guys going to prep schools in US. These guys gotta be more careful and do some research before they go.

I didn't see you post when Pangos lit up BYU for 30 on amazing shooting a few night earlier. I've been a diehard Zags fan for 15 years and try to go to a few of their games a year and have seen every game on tv for several years, Kevin Pangos is already the team leader as a true freshman and his teammates love him to death. With KP and Gary Bell, Gonzaga will have one of the best backcourts in the nation for the next few years.

They are in, but not by much, probably a 8-11 seed.

New Mexico State has a real shot at qualifying for the tournament. They play Ashaolu's old team, Louisiana Tech.
St. Bonaventure also has a winnable game against UMASS in the semis of their conference tournament. Problem is they would have to face Xavier or Saint Louis in the final.
