WOW....strong words from Chad. Anthony Davis really that good???

Too early to say but I would say yes. He's fluid, athletic, long, hard working, talented, and what's scary is that he might not even be selected 1st overall.

UNC is raining 3's. Bullock and now K. Mashall just connected from behind the arc.

Too bad he's struggled in this game thus far, he's completely different from the last game we saw....the size of UNC is getting to him.

ANDRE DRUMMOND FOR RAPTORS #1 OVERALL PICK! FORGET ABOUT ALL THESE LAMES! WE WOULD HAVE ONE OF THE CRAZIEST FRONT COURTS IN THE NBA WITH VAL AT THE CENTER AND DRUMMOND AT PF. WE SHOULD PICK UP THADDEUS YOUNG IN FREE AGENCY AND TRADE BARGNANI straight up for a package including a solid PG:

PG- Augustin ??? via trade for Bargnani
SG-DeRozan
SF-Thaddeus Young
PF-Drummond
C-Valanciunus

THIS IS THE FUTURE MY FRIENDS!!!

Davis against NC:

7/9/2

If that doesn't just scream one of the best #1 picks in years, then I dont know what does.

Any chance we get BOTH Davis and Drummond? Playing Demar @ 2, Davis @ 3, Drummond @ 4, and Val @ 5...we need Chris Paul coming in now.

No chance. Those two are in the talk of being the first two off the board.

Davis needs to play the 4. He hasn't shown that he can score off the dribble or shoot the ball well, and I think a good SF needs to be able to do at least one of those two. His main assets are his defensive potential and his ability to play well off the pick and roll, which is why he'd look good at PF imo. If somehow we end up with both Davis and Drummond (I really don't see how), one of Val/Davis/Drummond would almost certainly be traded to address other team needs.

if it comes down to picking Gilchrist or Harrison Barnes, who would you pick?

I think I would go with Gilchrist because of his defense and tenacious drive.

I'd probably pick Gilchrist. I think it's going to be easier for him to improve his weaknesses than it will be for Barnes to improve his. He's younger too

I choose Barnes for his ability to shoot, post and his improving perimeter game (triple-threat & shot fakes). Despite Gilchrist can slash to the bucket at the collegiate level that easily but I don't see how he can do all that against the big men in the nba. His shots are still horrific, but I like his motor and drive...it suits Casey's system.

I'd go with Gilchrist at this. He really just has to improve on that jumper. The rest of his game is very well-rounded.
