All you that think this kid don't have that "it" factor is just plain crazy. His game is no where near bayless for those that think that. My comparisons for him best/worst case scenario is derrick rose with a little less speed and better shot/a more humble and calm westbrook with a better shot. To me his ceiling is the second highest in this draft and his floor isn't that bad that's why I think we should work a trade out with portland for 6th because they are our only real competition in front our pick. Some people say his ceiling is billups but he is more athletic than billups and I think he can possibly be better than him if he reaches his ceiling. This kid has star potential when I look at him and read about him great character, great work ethic, easy to coach, is a great scorer at his position and doesn't commit a lot of turnovers, very humble, and always has that urge to improve his weaknesses and train like a superstar than he wants to become.

So all in all, Lillard or Die Tryin

Raptors list of rookies should be PJ3, Lillard, Rivers, Waiters, or Harkless.
I say draft Lillard, Waiters, or Harkless.

Holy crap. So basically Derrick Rose/Westbrook without the weaknesses lol. No way. I think an apt comparison is Stephon Marbury. He was a baller back in the day.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Yeah like the Steph of NJ without the attitude issues. Or maybe even Houston Steve Francis.

I like the Francis comp, much better 3 point shooter though.

Not really. Kemba wasn't that efficient and isn't anything close to as good a shooter as Lillard.

Lillard looks like one of the best shooters in his draft class, Kemba not so much. Lillard is also a lot bigger, a near 6'8" wing span and standing nearly 6'3" tall.

Is he working out against anybody or is he just doing individual workouts?

I would like to see him against elite athleticism rather than solo drills and weak league play to gauge him.

With his size, ability to shoot the ball and slash to the rim, Lillard fills the needs of this team moving forward. Add in the fact that he fills a long-standing position of need (PG) and I think he becomes the first point guard since Damon Stoudemire to be drafted by the Raptors.

At least Kemba had the skillset that brought his team on the map and was one of the reasons if not the main reasons, helped UConn win their championship.

Kemba is like 5'10 which is fine for the NCAA. Lillard is 6'3.

who cares if lillard is better than kemba or not. Kembas greatest skill is scoring (or leadership), and he isnt even good at it. Im not sold on lillard, but to say he'll have a better carear than Kemba walker wouldnt surprise me.
This is not the draft to be going after a point gaurd.

honestly but the end of their careers I have a feeling Wroten might end up with a better career, something bout this screams stud to me. (Yes I am a Wroten Homer) With that being said lillard is exactly like calderon, why exactly do we want calderon number 2, except calderon can shoot.

He's 6''1.

Haha, no. He's 6' 2.75"...
0'0.25" off of 6'3, and much further from 6'1.
