Where ever he ends up (obviously not on our treadmill) will be the team I'll follow from then on. Raptors are too unwatchable and depressing to waste time on anymore

NO would need some luck to get him, they're too good to tank. Not sure a team with Gordon/Tyreke/Holiday would be good for his development either.

Hey guys, does anyone know what happened to the Kansas vs Wake Forest game that was supposed to be on TSN2 tomorrow? It was on the schedule a few days ago, but I double checked today and it looks like its been replaced by "ESPN Original Documentaries: Catching Hell"

What gives? Does anyone around here send links to stream the game? I checked the KU schedule and it looks like everything there is still on schedule, so TSN 2 may have changed their programming. Not on TSN primary either.

Thanks

Reaffirms my opinion of Wiggins. He's a transcendent offensive player, but not in the way most people are accustomed to in the ball dominant player way. He's not the guy to lead the charge, however he helps cover for all the seams in the offense and makes it better; he's an ultra "score within the flow of the offense" player. You don't need fancy ISO skills to be good on offense.

The league has changed into team play and of the ball play. Looking at arguably the two best guys in Lebron and Durant. You look at two guys who either like Lebron make everybody else better by distributing the ball to them where they can do damage or like Durnat the ability to catch and shoot use screens to get open. This isn't the league of Jordan where it was Mano e Mano. However to become a complete player in game winning situations it's helps to have a guy who can go one on one. He needs to improve his shooting touch from mid to long range and develop some handles.

Agreed on all your points, I wouldn't be satisfied with Wiggins if he basically became a prime Shawn Marion. Although on Jordan it's worth mentioning that he did dominate the ball, however he was probably the best superstar at playing off the ball this side of Larry Bird.

It must be kept in mind that Wiggins' usage is much lower than guys like Parker, Randle, and Smart. He's been a very efficient offensive player for KU, but that efficiency would go down if he was asked to do as much as those three guys.

That said, I've been very impressed by the all-around game he's shown so far. He's playing like someone beyond his years.

Jordan was a total team player in college. His 3 year average in points is 17.7 ppg (13.5, 20.0, 19.6)

According to some of you he would have been drafted in the 2nd round the way y'all are going.

That is odd, I saw it on their schedule too. The TV rights for the next 3 games belong to the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament, not Kansas, though, so that might have something to do with it. Perhaps TSN isn't yet again willing to pay the necessary price for content.

Vince Carter at UNC has a 3 year average of 12.3 ppg (7.5, 13.0, 15.6)

Forget 2nd round for him, he wouldn't even be a D-Leaguer!

The only league he'd be playing in is the local pay to play rec leagues in your neighborhood. And he'd probably get picked last.

Someone should sue TSN for false advertisement. I bet some people signed up for the TSN 2 package because of them advertising the ability to view "All of Andrew Wiggins' games"

Right from the TSN website:

WIGGINS FEVER HITS TSN WITH EVERY KANSAS JAYHAWKS GAME

Canada's own Andrew Wiggins is one of college basketball's top prospects, and he takes centre stage on TSN this season as the network delivers complete coverage of every Kansas Jayhawks game – all the way to NCAA March Madness.

Shawn Marion isn't what I'm looking for in a number 1 pick. If this draft is all it's built up to be then we need someone who is going to give us a good shot at winning a title. A LeBron/KD/Dwight level player.

I agree, this class isn't all it is hyped up to be, top 6 transformational is bs.

Wiggins is not a "transcendent" off-the-ball offensive player. Pure hyperbole.

He doesn't resemble Shawn Marion at all, so no need to worry there.

No idea if this has been posted, but a good article about Wiggins and what separates him from the other top prospects.

An hour earlier, the Jayhawks had been finishing up an easy victory when Towson senior Jerrelle Benimon, a 6-foot-8 forward, started to get hot against Kansas’ front court. Wiggins was interested in seeing if he could stop Benimon. And Kansas coach Bill Self was interested in teaching his forwards a lesson.

So for a few possessions, Wiggins left his usual defensive assignment on the perimeter and took on Benimon. He didn’t score again.
