You'll be back when we have a nice and exciting core, led by a top 3 pick. trust me.

Yeah, that's why I said this team specifically, the Casey-Derozan-Lowry core.

In the morning I awake
I feel my bladder about to break
I scratch my balls I rub my eyes
Just feeling lousy

My girlfriend tells me that
It's time to take a bath
I say, "No, not today, it's only Tuesday"

Once every 24 hours
I'm supposed to take a shower
That's not the way I do it
Do it do it
Personal hygiene is the last thing on my mind
I don't want to do it
Do it do it

It doesn't make a difference to me
Everyday I do the same old thing
So why should I have to be clean?
Those dreaded Wednesdays and Saturdays
Also known as shower days
I hate them

Spoiler:
Mad props if anyone gets this reference.

I played ball during the raptor game. I PVR'd it and so wasn't that pissed because I had already worked out all my anger issues.

I had so much apathy from October till the Trade deadline... I had to force myself to watch Raps games this year.
I would PVR them and FWD through all the commercials and babbling from Leo and Rod Black etc. Saved so much time
and I was able to get through the games fast.

The trades for Ibaka and Tucker ignited me again...

I should have known better

My post count is too high for this pretender team. Waiting for this season to be over so I can take break until the draft and offseason

Living and dying with the Raptors, with all the highs and lows, will seriously mess you up. Years ago when I was a teenager and more of a hardcore fan I was on that emotional rollercoaster. But when you finish school, things in the real world start to take priority. You just don't have the time and energy to invest in the team like before. There are times when I'm too busy to even watch a playoff game.

Plus you've seen it all anyway, so the team losing means nothing to you.

So yeah, go do something with your life. /Oldmanrant

Getting beatdown is a Blessing in Disguise

Post#457 » by LonZoBallin » Fri Apr 21, 2017 3:39 pm

It makes the transition to take a step back a lot easier for the fanbase. There's a lot of you out there that think this team is better than it ever was. With Lowry and Ibaka due big money this off-season, we were in serious danger of being locked into this core for years to come.

Boston has the #1 pick and 50 million in cap space
Lebron and Irving>DD and lowry the rest of their career
Washington has a younger core with a legit superstar MVP
The Hawks are in the same territory as us but at least they have a young all-star level player in schroder
The bucks are whooping us with a superstar who is still on his rookie contract and they don't have their 2nd best player

There is no reason to go into the tax or get stuck with this core when your ceiling is prolly battling the hawks for 6th in the east. All those teams minus the cavs are trending up, we're trending down. We had our run, sell high on Derozan at the draft and let lowry and Ibaka walk.

Start the process before we get stuck in no mans land battling for 6th in the east the next 5 years.

I wish we lost to the Pacers

Or better yet I wish we sucked after the Gay trade
