The fact this man kept Powell out of the rotation is a fireable offense.

I don’t blame Casey for much, but this is the one thing I dislike about him. He was just recently talking about Powell having to earn his minutes “as any young player should”. That last part is pretty annoying. He operates under that old school mentality, which explains his loyalty to playing vets, even though they are grossly underperforming. I’d prefer someone that is just worried about playing the best guys possible, regardless of all this oldschool garbage like ranking, paying your dues, etc.

Can't think of a sport where those dinosaur philosophies are any more useless than the NBA. It's purely a talent league.

I don't care about his old school philosophy; Pow a young star ready to bloom since last year playoffs. Without Pow and JV there will be no 2nd or 3rd round last season; clown would of been fired. Without Pow and JV there wouldn't be such high expectations coming into this season. If we want to talk about old school fine cojo came from a old school program under pop and won a ring; prior to the ibaka and tucker deal why hasn't he tried Cojo/Ross/Carroll/2Pat/JV? I stated before for Cojo to be effective you need 2SF and 1SPF 3 point shooters camping and 1 good screeners to set screens for Cojo to drive and kick; what does the Clown have on the court? 2PG 1SG 1SF 1SPF? Cojo pounding that rock for like 20 sec or passing it back to Demar or Lowry is a dumb offensive play looking for disaster. You know what good offense even thou we see little of it Cojo+Poetl. For all I care I don't care he's the defensive mastermind behind the Mavs 1st Championship; but not bringing over and teaching even a small sample offensive set that coach Rick Carlisle runs is a f@cking crime

Wow, reading the Bucks PG and they thought we won it because of the refs. Yet absolutely no mention of how Giannis is able to murder people on defense and get away with it.

And offense. The guy is an off-armming offensive foul machine and he never gets called.

I can see how Milwaukee is on the wrong end of a lot of 5 vs 8 as they are a small market .


But Toronto is a zero, non - existent TV market!

Toronto will always by league policy - be on the wrong end of 5 vs 8.

We need to be mad about 5 vs 8 even when we win - it cannot be sour grapes when we lose.

KL and Powell the Owl ( a raptor I think??) take charges, no call - DD turns around and gets nailed with a charge.

JV gets vertical and gets called.

We need to be upset about this and not let it go!

I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's 5 vs 8. It's unfair. JV gets a foul for defending but the Bucks can hammer us with impunity. Punks are running wild attacking Raptors and there's no official anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. And we sit watching our TV's while some local sportscaster tells us that Lowry got hacked but there was no call, DD is dusting himself off again and there was no call, and then JV dared defend at our end and then suddenly there was a call as if that's the way it's supposed to be. We know NBA officials are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere that the other team does is ok and if the Raptors try to do something it's a foul, officials going crazy. We sit in the house,trying to cheer on the Raptors and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms and call the game fairly!. Let me have my Demar DeRozen, KL and Powell the Owl, JV and Pat-Pat along with my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won't say anything.
