The "thank you" trade to Kyle to his hometown team, to live his dream

To Sixers: Kyle Lowry
To GSW: Horford
To Raps: Wiggins

Everybody wins! Everybody.

Back in bid'ness

With you on Baynes but we are not trading Fred. Like we may not resign him (highly unlikely) but ill bet the house we dont sign and trade him.

Baynes and Giles are the two guys I want to round out our big man rotation. Both should come for the Mini MLE and vet min respectively. After that, you convert Brissett and Watson, maybe take a flier on dunn at the vet min assuming Chicago wont match (long shot but why not try)

Call it an off season

I don't regret this season but we missed out on acquiring assets by starting the rebuild by the trade deadline. Raps obviously felt they could contend with this group so didn't make any trades. But it likely would've been in our long term interests to trade Ibaka, FVV, etc at the deadline. We now risk losing them for nothing.

I'm also concerned we don't have much going for us this off season and next season. Even "running it back" is not a good option. Next year the Celtics, Bucks, Nets, Heat will all be competitive. With no roster changes we're probably looking at being the 4-6 seed.

What assets do we have available this off season? Not many in my opinion. We likely aren't trading Lowry. I doubt we give up on Siakam. TD is a good project worth keeping. Don't think it makes sense to trade OG. Norm is the only guy we are likely willing to trade and who other teams will find valuable.

I think this off season and next season will be tough. We're looking at a border line playoff team with a peak of making it to the 2nd round again.

^Raps could use Horford. I'd consider that deal if the Raps can get a good draft pick out of it to attach to Horford. But, I do not think the Raps will be as good without Lowry FWIW.

PG FVV
SG Wiggins
SF OG
PF Siakam
C

would be better..longer in D..More athletic...much better offensively...of course minus the grit of Kyle.but FVV can take that torch..Let's not forget, with Nurse, it was "business as usual" when Kyle was injured.

do the Raptors really win with Wiggins? lmao.

Correct me if I am wrong but sign and trades hard cap guys.

Do people really want that in an uncertain/covid cap environment

Is there a way we could get both Dipo and Turner?

I believe it only hard caps the team receiving the sign and trade player. I could be wrong.

I also feel like it's realistic. The suns played their best basketball without oubre and they probably realize him starting and taking all those possessions wasn't ideal for winning. They gave Rubio the extension last year but Fred is younger and ideal to be paired with booker and their big man.

If Oubre came here I feel like Nurse can make him a more winning player and he already has the offensive talent.

I would be okay with this.

I would try to pursue an Oladipo trade. I think his value is pretty low right now and it could be a big swing and miss type move due to his injury concern, but he's only got a year left on his deal and it wouldn't be brutal if it didn't work out. Plus, the Pacers have played without him for long stretches.

Powell + McCaw + Future 1st (Lottery protected) for Oladipo + Future 2nd round pick

Maybe work out a S&T for Fred if he decides to go elsewhere. I think Pheonix and New York are two big contenders for him. Say Pheonix we could S&T Fred for Rubio + Salaries match. Then flip Rubio down the line.

Resign Ibaka with a 1+1 deal.

2020/2021 Raptors:
Rubio/Davis
Oladipo/Thomas/Brisset
Wiggins/OG/Watson
Pascal/Boucher
Ibaka/Hernandez

You retain a lot of flexibility. You stay competitive and attractive to free agents in 2021. You're still young and have room for growth.

Lowry was the only player that actually showed up.

A y'all Wana trade him for Wiggins??????

Jesus Christ. Rather DeRozan who does the same as Wiggins which will come for free.

I'm taking a break from this zoo.

Wiggins and Oubre??? disgusting, I'd rather take the best wing available with our 29th pick and give him 20 shots a game than have Masaii trade for either of those clowns.

FVV cannot be given the keys to this team. Sure in the d-league he could run the team on his own but we can clearly see he doesn't have that extra gear in the playoffs when teams key in on him.

FVV has maxed out his potential and that is to be praised but he should not be getting 20 to 25 Million a year. He is constantly getting blocked at the rim or missing badly on contests. No midrange game to speak off due to not being able to create that space for himself or team mates.

My target is Zach Lavine. I want to give nurse the most dynamic and athletic group we can find and let him work his magic and moulding them into a defensive juggernaut. Another target is aaron gordon to fill the PF position. We should also pickup drummond if we can on the cheap as a backup

Kyle / Davis / Stanley (player option)
Zach /Norm
OG / Paul Watson
Pascal / Brissett
Ibaka? / Boucher / dewan
