It would need to be a complete salary dump and I’m betting they want actual assets for Herro to pass onto Portland.

Add in Precious.

Other then nets not sure what other team can compete with our offers

Scottie gonna kill it this year and a lot of these posts are gonna look bad in retrospect.
Can't wait to see what he looks like with a new coach and no Fred.

Something tells me that Jerami Grant's going back on to the free agent market soon. I can't imagine Portland wanting to pay that kind of money if Dame is gone and Grant wouldn't want to stick around anyways...

This is probably because you don't have a good grasp on Dame's value. Which is okay but the long and short of it is Dame won't yield a haul.

I could probably get behind moving Scottie for Dame. It's become apparent that we aren't going to build around him, and after his second year, I'm no longer convinced he's a guy to build around anyway. I can't see him being a top 5-10 player in the NBA... maybe not even top 25-30. Under other circumstances I would be fine waiting it out, but seeing him develop into a good second option on a treadmill team is not worth hanging onto. -
If the trade would be Scottie and filler (maybe a 1st and/or some swaps), I'm good with it. Scottie, another good piece, 2-3+ picks and swaps, much less so. So maybe there's no deal. I would consider Scottie to be a better asset than 4-5 late FRP, but the trade market for stars lately seems to be fixated on the quantity of picks, not the quality.
Somewhat ironically, I would have moved everything except Scottie for Scoot - so now that Portland has him, maybe they'll think the same way.

The Barnes hate is hilarious. It's mostly Fred stans and a few of his pre-draft haters who didn't want to admit they were wrong about him.

I dunno man. They came out after draft night and said there was nothing out there that made them championship contenders.
Sounds like they sat at the table and listened, but ultimately If they don’t think Pascal moves the needle, that’s their prerogative.

Ive been suspicious ever since they flipped josh hart.
Hes cheap (seriously, brooks signed for almost double). And basically the perfect 3 d and 2 guard to play off of lillard.
Suspicious i say….suspicious!
