The day this franchise can repair someone's shot is over. For that reason I am out.

Also he has a scrub name  reekman.

They literally just repaired Scottie's shot.

And yet I would never put my money on him hitting a jumpshot still. He's simply not a shooter.
There are levels to shooting

Can they take it back into the shop for re-repairs? He's 16-55 from three so far in January.

Coulibaly last year…Salaun and Risacher this year. These French wings know how to blow up as the season progresses.

Another top 4 only pick

Should be noted this is the U21 league. Skills are still evident.

Take French league stats with a grain of salt, it's the worse defensive league in Europe. Coulibaly is currently a pure 3+D guy right now, he looks really bad trying to do anything in the half court. I think the potential is there since his open shooting is good and he's an incredible athlete.

The u21 French league is probably worse than top US HS basketball leagues, you really can't take anything from it other than outside shooting.

Heard all this last year with Coulibaly.

It’s all about projection. Risacher is showing he has the skills to play in the NBA.

If the Suns beat the Pacers tonight our pick moves to 16th (tied with Kings). The media keep saying the pick will be in the early to mid 20s (it might be), but there are a bunch of factors that might lead it to being 15-19 with an out outside shot at lottery (I would not bet on it).

All the people who have been screeching that this is a weak draft are going to be in shambles when it turns out it wasn't a weak draft.

I remember they said 2020 was weak too. We had articles like “How the Worst NBA Draft In Years Could Impact the Trade Deadline” (https://www.si.com/nba/2019/12/19/2020-nba-draft-trade-deadline-impact)

yet it has produced Ant, LaMelo, Haliburton, Maxey, Jaden McDaniels, IQ, Bane, Okongwu, Nesmith and several other solid role players

If that’s what a weak draft is then I’m all for it lol. Scouts tend to be wrong more often than not

Those headlines aren't even based on real scouts' opinions. They usually take the opinions of "draft experts" in the media (like Sam Vecenie) who know less than your average RealGM poster. And when they interview "front office members", they mean intern-level support staff. GMs, presidents, and high level scouts aren't talking to journalists about the draft.

Looking at win totals based on betting odds, the raps are predicted to finished 7th worst with ~ 31 wins.

Odds are the spurs end up making the pick.

Like Coulibaly last year he has been playing with both the top division team and the U21 team.

The highlights from this game was the U21 league, I am fairly certain. His game log on proballers has the league listed as (2) which is a step down. It’s like when NBA players play in GLeague, the league is listed as (2).

I'm not even thinking about our lottery protected pick just our other prospects in the mid lotto to the second round. I'll still look at the lotto as there is a chance someone falls to one of our picks. But mainly looking at projected players 14 down. Time to review some tape for next few days.

Gonna be such a terrible look when Spurs draft 7th.
At least Masai owned up to it but sheesh, what a nightmare situation that's about to play out.

Hopefully the lottery balls go in our favor again.

A lock to be a top 10 pick on that performance alone.
