He wasn't even on the floor when you posted this...

I posted this before he went back to the bench. Throwing passes and had couple of steal doesn't mean much if you're not doing what a big should do, rebound, protect the paint and play hard. No way I'm taking this guy 1st pick. Davis is far better than him at this point.

Your right in saying that Drummond rarely boxes out, sets HORRIBLE screens, and won't get involved if the ball isn't in his immediate area. However I think that this will be addressed with maturity and coaching. His activity level looks better then the first few games I've seen from him. I think he may have lost some serious development time by joining UConn so late. Regardless I think a year of solid fundamental training in the nba with a big man coach will change alot of people's perception of him.

Did anyone just saw what Lamb did to that poor defender off the dribble before the half?
This guys is going to be a player. He just iso someone crossed him up and finished with contact in the lane.

I remember really liking Lamb in the Tourney last year. Then this summer I was watching some team USA game and this wing was really impressing me. It was Lamb.

Looking forward to getting a good look at Lamb and Barnes during the conference tourneys and NCAA tourney. As well as some of the other wings I have not seen as much of.

His activity level is rather more fluctuate, one game he's active, other game he's not. This guy needs another season so that he can become the go to guy so he can be motivated to play better. Trufully I hope he makes me eat crow in the nba. His potential is just too damn good to play like this, I say he needs a KG mentor to punkass him to play harder, like cmon. The kid needs to grow the hell up.

He's not my boy, its just my two cents. Drummond is no doubt a project but he is also a player that could end up being a top player in the nba, he could just as easily be Andray Blatche but if were tanking I'd rather take a risk.

Does the way Lamb plays remind anyone else of Brandon Roy? That's why I don't really understand the Rip Hamilton comparisons.

I get a Tmac vibe from Lamb, its too bad he doesn't fully apply himself on both ends though. He is the guy im pretty high on right now. If I was looking at at #3-5 pick I would be picking between him and MKG and maybe Harrison

BC doesn't have another 5 year plan for a big, he's only got one more year left....this kid is obviously a long term project, I don't see BC willing to take this kind of risk that puts his job in jeopardy.

now that you've mentioned it, the roy comparison is so much more accurate, lamb always iso like roy used to do. RIp's comparison prolly due to their similar body size with repertoire includes off ball spot up shooting skills and on ball pull up jumper.

Well Drummond has already looked better this half. His activity level has picked up a bit. I guess part of the blame goes to Napier, he never looks for Drummond on offense.

I honestly wonder what Uconn does in practise....how can Calhoun not pull drummond aside and say hey bruh, can you **** put your but into the guy when the ball goes up. Thanks.

He needs to use his strength, no fade aways.

I really want Lamb in a raptors uniform. Can be a bit of a playmaker, can score off iso and is good shooter. My major concerns about him are effort on both ends of the floor and his lack of strength. He would be a good-great compliment to Bargnani and Jonas though.

Defensively, he has a pretty good frame to work with, long arms despite lack of strength, he just needs to get stronger, like u said, if he puts more effort on D he'll be a ball-hawk especially under Casey he'll be pushed to work on on defensive end. Offensively, he's just so versatile so skilled, if it comes down to him being the BPA, I would take him and run. He's an upgrade at the 2 (no offense demar, you're just not that skilled compared to lamb)

Lamb would look pretty good in Casey's slower pace offense
