If Giannis was plan A, then plan B should now be bringing in potential assets that can develop into a new core with Malachi
That means at best, it's hoping for deep playoffs runs for experience, riding Pascal, Fred, and Kyle for as long as he chooses to be here.

Haynes - Len
Siakam - Boucher - Hernandez
OG - Norm - Bembry
FVV - TDIII - Harris - Thomas
Lowry - Flynn
Any equal value SF we can move TDIII for?
you don't move TD.
if he convicted, yes u do.
If convicted you wait for his reaction. Does he accept the judgement of the court, or is he Trump? Does he do fundraisers for women's shelters? Does he speak at schools abut domestic violence?
People can be redeemed if they want it.

There is zero tolerence for it. Fans quickly rage.. same thing happend to Osuna and Jays/Rogers.
They wont go down that road again.
Although, it seems he has a case now, and it will get thrown out.

Keeping an eye on Drummond. His 3pt shot seems to be developing with a solid form. He has the right age to fit with FVV, Siakam, OG and CNN.

Zero tolerance means appropriate consequences. I'm not sure how a wrongdoer going to another team, whose fans will ignore what he has done, teaches a wrongdoer anything. Facing one's fans, making efforts to correct one's behavior, contributing to victim's groups, will have much more effect on changing a person that letting him be shipped off to another location where all is forgotten.
Deterrence by example does not work. Shipping Osuna off did not prevent any future domestic abuse from happening.
The Catholic Church did this all the time. Child molesting priests would be shipped off to another church and repeated their behavior, rather than face up to it, suffer the consequences, and work to change themselves.

You don't get it. These are massive corporations who have a responsibility to the community. The backlash wont sit well with them, they are in the public eye in a big way, which is why they will move away from it quickly (probably quickly than Osuna).

And yet you still aren't comprehending. The media follows the team every hour of every day. Fans are more in tuned with what is going on with the team with each day. You can't have a convicted player on the team for domestic abuse - the team will feel the pressure and ultimately trade or cut him. This isn't the Catholic Church, who are not in the eyes of the media every single day.

Your logic that the team will trade him misses the mark. If a team is willing to trade for him, then his reputation is not unrepairable.
We will only know if releasing him is the correct decision if he isn't picked up by another team. If he is picked up by another team, he will have gotten away with less consequences than if he was made to face his fans and explain what and how he is going to make amends.
Dumping a problem onto another team does not solve anything. Just as dumping a criminal priest on anther diocese does not solve the problem. If he is going to be in the league, then why isn't it our job to reform him?

You still aren't getting it. If the player is convicted, the team will be forced to trade him or cut him, it's that simple. They will face too much backlash from the community, fans, corporate sponsors to keep him. You do understand the team is owned by corporate mega giants Bell and Rogers? They don't want to deal with negative backlash because of a players wrongdoing, especially one that isn't a star on the team.
