Kanter. His jump hooks are nice. So is his footwork - nimble. His jumper is nice too. You can see his skill.

Still not as high as Dwight Howard.

I think you mean "soft hands", because softness usually means a reluctance to bang inside.

You're right - soft hands is the better term. Especially with the hook. Looking at the size of the man, I don't think he'll have any reluctance to bang inside. He would eat up Bargs in practise.

There's no one in this draft with a ceiling as high as Cousins. He already averaged 14.1/8.6 in his rookie season and showed glimpses of the kind of dominant force he can become. I really don't think the Kings would do that trade, but if they would, I'd easily do it.

Cousins
Davis
J.Johnson
DD
Bayless

would be a very talented young team to move forward with. It won't be smooth sailing right away as DeMarcus does need to improve on his shot selection, and cut down on his turnovers and fouls, but the foundation for a very good team would be in place imo. I just don't think it's very realistic though.

Maybe we'll get lucky with Kanter and he'll be just as beastly as a player.

Trade Bargs for 2011 and 2012 first round picks with one of the teams in the top 5 in this years draft. Draft Kemba and Kanter this year. Have 2 first round picks next year and a young core.

Didn't the Clippers give up a first round pick for Mo Williams? All they had to do was take back a bad contract. If that's all it takes, I'd still do it.

Good point.

But at this point, it very hard to find a team that Bargnani would fit into to, so it would have to be a pretty bad contract.

None the less, you make a good point.

NO ONE is going to give up two lottery picks for a 50M/5 year center that doesnt like to rebound.

Until someone hires Isiah Thomas again, please dont suggest this on the trade board. I like to keep that kind of crazy talk in house.

And the Clippers dumped Baron Davis, along with their first pick for Mo Williams.

Yeah, that's exactly what he said.

The Cavs aquired a first rounder while taking a bad contract.

Bargnani is the bad contract here - not the same thing.

This is impossible. You won't even get one pick (ok maybe one 2011 pick if the team is really desperate but very unlikely) let alone 2 or 3 in a stacked 2012 draft

Sorry, I wasn't aware you knew Bargnani's value out there. Time will tell though. When you see what BC gets in return, you'll seem foolish for underrating Barg's value around the league.

2 or 3 in 2012? Let's calm down now lol. I said this years pick and a first next year, not 2-3 next year. But even if that's too much, I'd still do a first round pick this year and a chance to swap next years pick.

So we dont know his value, but you do. And this given that we're headed for a potential lockout where teams are most likely not looking to add salary; nevermind one with 4 years and 40 million (+5% trade kicker)left owing. Gotcha.

As for your suggested pick swap, I'm pretty sure 29 of 30 teams would agree to that. That's a pretty low risk to take when trading with the Raptors. As a Raptors fan then, that's not adding value.

I kind of wonder if Kanter could go 1st overall. Especially if Minnesota stays in that spot.
