Please and thank you. Even though in Toronto, I doubt a move like that works out for us.

Rudy gay for Tristan Thompson and Alonzo gee.

Makes way too much sense.they get the big name they want next to kyrie plus gee is redundant with gay so they don't need him. Ruins plans of getting lbj back but realistically he wasn't gonna-especially now that Miami won it all.

GSW wouldn't do it. Ezeli is already out for the first half of next season and might miss a significant portion of the 2nd half so the W's can't deal the only healthy backup center they currently have without getting a center in return for him. I'd imagine that means the Raps would have to include Gray in any Biedrins deal or substitute Jefferson but don't expect GSW to send out a draft pick due to Barg's contract.

^Of course Bargs would nab Biedrins. While he does fill a role of sorts, Biedrins might be the worst overall player in the NBA.

This trade would never happen in a million years.

U do know Rudy is the better player and still in his prime, the cavs have no sf and aren't drafting porter #1 so unless they trade down this deal gives them their second best player and let's them draft Noel 1st cuz Thompson was the main reason they will probly pass on him

I'm curious as heck to see what Masai does. It may just end up being a 2nd rd'r only, but if a trade for Rudy Gay or DeMar DeRozan presents itself, where TOR lands a high pick in return, does Masai pull the trigger?

Kendrick Perkins, Perry Jones for Andrea Bargnani. I'm sure it has been posted before.

Hey guys. I don't follow things as closely as you all do, but is it safe to say that the Rudy Gay extension talk went out the window with Colangelo? Is the thinking that Masai would like to dump him?

To be honest, there has been nothing reported on this topic at all this offseason as his extension is still over a year away. It all depends on the direction you see Masai take. I don't think anyone could tell you one way or another until we see some of the moves start to unfold.

Any trade ideas to get LaMarcus Aldridge? Considering what Cleveland offered him, he might be hard to get. Would ft rally well here, but we would have to give a lot back.

Something like DD+Amir+2015 1st might get it done. We aren't giving them a poo poo platter like Cleveland is...

if hes there at #9

To TOR: Berea + #9 (Bennett)
To MIN: Ross + Gray

saves them a year off Bereas deal and they need a 3+D SG like Ross to put beside Rubio. The latest draftexpress mock has Detroit picking Bennett but i think they pass on him with Drummond & Monroe there already

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Hmm, it seems like that is a deal that Portland would be interested, but I don't think l'd be willing to part with those pieces.

We were a 30 win team last year. No one is untouchable, especially players that have peaked.

While I agree with that, I think LA is at his peak which is a solid 18/9 player. I believe that we will get more production with an improving Demar and a consistent Amir let alone the draft pick.

All of a sudden I really like Dennis Schroeder. I've been reading up on the draft pool today, and Schroeder is the guy who leaps out at me as a possible steal (relative to expected draft position).

The most exciting thing about Schroeder is that he makes playing PG look really easy. He has great size and athleticism for the position, and just glides around the court making nice passes and knocking down open shots (he was one of the best catch and shoot guys in Europe last season). He seems to be kind of bleh at attacking the rim as he can't really go through guys yet, and is a bit turnover prone, but I really like the overall package that he already has, and there's lots of upside here as well.

In a weird way, he kind of has a variation of the "Jose Calderon" offensive package, only with a higher inclination to try risky passes, along with much better athleticism and defensive potential (based on his body and how he moves, Schoeder has the tools to be a defensive stud). I think that would be a good PG to have.

I'm not sure what it would take to acquire a pick to draft him, but I'd be excited to see him on the team.

I don't disagree but trading away players that are easily replaceable for a position we need seems to be good. I also like the idea of LA with Val because he stretches the floor with his shooting. DD could easily be replaced with a Tony Allen clone and that would actually be an upgrade. DD doesn't do anything extra. We replace DD's scoring and Amir's rebounding with Aldridge who does both.

I think a core of Rudy/Aldridge/Val with the hopes that we get Schroeder or Burke seems like a win win for this team without blowing it all up.
